BMR1959 Fully Poseable Fashion Doll, Brunette, in Neon Motocross Dress, Denim Jacket and Beret, with Accessories and Doll Stand

This doll is a posable Made to Move body type. She is wearing a very cute outfit. Her hair is kind of stiff and styled in a pull back pony tail. She has kind of grown on me and now I like her look quite a bit.

I have all of the female dolls. I ended up purchasing Sweatshirt + Romper twice because I gave the first one away, and I realized I wanted her for my collection. So gorgeous. The dolls are all Made to Move, and the female dolls all have jewelry and manicures. The clothing quality is excellent, and the hairstyles and makeup are gorgeous. Even though I'm not much of a Ken collector, I'm most likely going to purchase the Ken with green-flocked hair - cuz I don't hide my bigotry behind my religion. Ahem.

Bought her for a body donor for Barbie and rockets drummer due to pale yellow skin. So they swapped bodies. And I gave various clothing to other dolls. As you can see from pics. I wished Mattel didn’t staple hat to head it greats holes they could have double sticked taped clear rubber bands to the top of it and rubber band it to your neck so that it’s kind of like stay there until the person opens it and take the rubber bands off and the double stick tape and then you have a hat with no holes. My only problem with the BMR 59 line is that they went nuts on the use of the name is a print a lot of people don’t always like Louis Vuitton because of the excess Print. They could’ve done a print of the Barbie face logo for some of it and then just had a statement piece with the word BMR 59. Hopefully they tone it down with the 2nd wave like some fashion designers do with a new collection.

Pros: - MTM fully articulated body - Kira face mold - Fun jean jacket - Fun hoop earrings - Unique makeup colors Cons: - Lip painting is *very* feathered on mine - I had this same issue with a Diana/Wonder Woman Barbie recently too - Hair is short and looks thin - she also had 6 tabs in her head - 3 holding her to the box and three holding her hat on - Dress, hat, and shoes aren't my style - but I knew that going in I'm glad I got a great price on her and that I'm currently learning to reroot & repaint because her lipstick paint feathering would have been enough for me to send her back if I wasn't in the process of learning how to fix that. I'm a sucker for the Kira face mold though so she will be worth the effort to reroot and then repaint her lips - I love how they painted her eyes so she looks similar but not the same as 90s Kira 💜

I got very lucky cuz I was confused when I first picked up this box, it was barely taped close. To where I thought it would be empty. But luckily she survived the journey with an open box. So definitely grateful for the drivers handling the doll with care. As you can see she arrived perfect otherwise! Condition and appearance of the doll all match description.
