Real wood / sturdy / not for novice to assemble...
On a whole, this is a solid buy. If you struggle with Ikea kits, this may be more difficult - some of the instructions have the wrong numbers. BUT if you are handy, you'll need an hour and a half to assemble and once together, this table is very sturdy! Made of real wood also. Good buy if you're handy!

Beautiful but difficult to assemble
This is a very attractive bedside table. It was REALLY hard to put together. The directions are clear! There are just sooo many steps! 25 pieces and 15 steps. I tried and I tried. I finally asked my husband to help. Even with his strong hands he had to go get the power screw driver. We finished it and it looks great. Do we want another one for my husband's side of the bed? Ha Ha no way.

Love these nightstands!
Got two of these nightstands for my bedroom. The caramel color matches my Zinus Alexia Rustic Pine bed frame perfectly. These are solid wood, not particle board with a beautiful finish. They are packed well - carefully wrapped and cushioned with styrofoam. It's a flat pack, there are many parts, but don't let that intimidate you. The assembly is actually very straightforward. You put them together with wood dowels and glue, and screws - this makes them very sturdy. Read through the assembly instructions first and lay out all of the parts. Just a dab of glue for each dowel. Even though the instructions say to not use power tools, I highly recommend using a small rechargeable power screwdriver to do the screws - just use care not to overtighten. I used some Nylo-Tape Friction-Free Drawer Slide Tape from Rockler Woodworking on the drawer slides - drawers slide easily and quietly. I love them, and the price was great!

Worst instructions/assembly process I’ve ever experienced
Do not buy this product if you don’t have 2 hours to spend trying to interpret the nonsensical instructions and illustrations in the assembly guide. There are so many needless pieces and steps - the glue is completely unnecessary given how many screws and nails there are in this kit, half of which are inconsequential. Note to the makers of this product - you don’t need 16 tiny nails to hold on one flimsy back board!!! Half that number would more than suffice, and it’s just wasteful to produce this much excess metal. Additionally, some of the pieces were misaligned and poorly finished - screw holes that don’t line up with their counterparts, peg holes that are too large or too small for the wooden pegs that belong to them. Needless to say this was a complete mess of a process for what turns out to be a very simple, no-frills wooden nightstand. I’ve built a couch from IKEA with less steps than this. All that being said, if you can stomach the process, the final product is decent enough. I regret the purchase purely from the assembly. I bought two - one for me and one for my partner - and I don’t know if I can will myself to embark on building the second one.

The worst build I’ve ever done!!!
The nightstand itself looks fine and is sturdy enough. However, the build is very cumbersome and tiring. The pre drilled holes leave a lot of chips and dirt, and sometimes do not line up well. If I did not already have one of these nightstands and needed a matching one, I would never purchase it.

parts were numbered and screws/etc. separated and sealed in individual bag
EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED FOR A NIGHTSTAND. I was very impressed with the way this was packaged. EACH part (except maybe 2 or 3) were "numbered" to correspond with the instructions. The dreaded "box of screws, bolts, etc." was a suprise when I opened the box up. THEY WERE ALL EACH SEPARATED AND SEALED IN A BAG WITH A LETTER PRINTED ON THE BAG to correspond with the instructions. IT DID TAKE ME A WHILE TO PUT TOGETHER, ONLY BECAUSE OF MY EYESIGHT IS BAD, AND WHEN I HAD ATTACHED THE BARS FOR THE DRAWER HOLDER, I HAD PLACED ONE UPSIDE DOWN. i do not do good with putting things together, or angles, etc.....so that is why it took me the 3 and half hours to put it together. I was also impressed with how all the parts lined up, and in the end, the drawer was lined up and even, easy to open/close. IT IS BEAUTIFUL. I impressed myself that I even put it together. I DID PUT AN OLD BLANKET ONE TOP OF MY DINING ROOM TABLE TO ASSEMBLE AND IT MADE IT MUCH EASIER. I had previously separated all the "numbered" parts. I would buy this brand again in a heartbeat.

Long assembly but imo, worth it!
It was exactly what I wanted for my small entryway- somewhere to put things near the door without being on the ground. Very affordable and a good value, I got this on sale for 60 something bucks

Good item for the price
Sometimes I wonder what people are expecting when they order this type of furniture. This is not heirloom quality but it serves a purpose- in my case I'm redecorating a seldom used guest room and don't want to spend much money. Since I'm not very handy I hired a couple of guys to put 2 of these night stands together and it took them about 45 minutes. I asked them if they found it to be difficult and they claimed they had no problems whatsoever. The drawers close smoothly and tightly and they are very sturdy and stable. They do look kind of cheap but they are cheap so why would I complain? If you don't look too close they look very nice and with a couple of new lamps on them they will serve my purpose very well. I have now ordered the matching dresser and I'll review that separately.
