United Plastics Fish Grip

These fish grippers won't hurt the fish unlike the metal ones out there. The best was to describe these grippers is like a pair of plastic vice grips. They look onto the lip of the fish and will not come off so make sure you put the cord around your wrist or you might not see them again. Make sure you are not on the tongue of the fish because they don't like that very much, just on the inside of the lip. The fish grippers payed for themselves after catching the first chain pickerel (when I was fishing for bass) becuase they are very nasty fish to unhook(Alot of Big Teeth) and want to attack you when you pull them in. Very nice grippers for the money but they are rather large and I would buy them again in a second.

I finally had a chance to put it to the test on several catfish in the 5-10lb range. It works very well. It makes it very easy to get a good hold of a fish, even if they flop around. I won't go catfishing without it.
