Lovely item but be warned that the strip is a full 12mm wide so it doesn't fit many aluminium profiles. Even some that say they are for 12mm strips don't fit. So great item but just make sure you get a profile with lots of space. Give a wonderful bright light. These really are very nice indeed. Much better spread of light than the older, cheaper strips that have an RGB LED and separate or no white led. Course you pay for it, but if you need high density, even lighting then these are the only option. The strips have a very high density of LEDs and they are super bright. I used them for backlighting a large wall mounted monitor and the overall effect is stunning. The strip has power connections at both ends and you do need to use both if you use more than half the strip. I experimented and found that at full load (120W) the wires will melt if you only use one of the connections. What I do is to cut the strip in to appropriate lengths, no more than 2.5 meters each. You use those kits of connectors to go round corners or add extra power cables. If you want to backlight a TV, that works out at about two individually powered strips that are 1.6m each for a 50" TV. Each strip has one corner in it. It's a fiddly process, but it's worth it. These strips are awesome and the final effect is amazing. The prices is too high now. There are other identical products on Amazon for a lot less money. So while the product is still a great product, you need to fish around for the best price. Highly recommended.

I was cautious when purchasing this LED strip as one of the reviewers had suggested they run very hot. I figured I could always return the strip if that was the case. Thankfully, it was not :) I ran the strip for half an hour with full white, red and green, barely warm to the touch :) The full 5m strip drew about 19W in this config. The LEDs themselves are quite close together which leads to a nice distribution of light, and having RGBW on a single chip means you don't have the striped white/colour/white/colour light pattern closer to the strip which you sometimes see on RGB + W strips. They're also brighter than some other cheap strips I've purchased in the past :) I purchased 2 of the strips and had a slight issue with 1 where a soldered joint had gone awry during manufacture. - these things can happen I guess. One quick message to the seller and all was resolved quickly :) The seller has been most helpful, and I'm very happy with the lights - I'd have no trouble recommending either :)

I have this stuck round the back of my tv and the brightness is far better and it produces colours like orange to match my fire (See image with Orange set at 30% brightness) loads better than other cheaper led strips and the RGB white (when blue red & green are all on together) is nice and white unlike the blue colour you get from the cheaper LED strips. I bought this because I wanted a really nice white, but if I’m honest a good quality LED strip produces a good enough white without being 5 pin with a separate white. I’m not sure if you can access the separate white without using the app, as if you ask Google/Alexa to change the colour to white it will use the RGB 255/255/255 white instead of the separate white. This is worth the extra money but be warned if you have other cheap LED strips in the same room It will make you want to upgrade them.

Got these for an escape room we were building. Works perfectly on DMX and really did the job. Only issue is the connection points when connecting two or more together feels a little weak - we taped them together to make sure they don't accidently get disconnected.

Excellent product & value

This is sold as 18 watts per metre - it's not ANYTHING like that bright. This image is my battery monitor as I connect all the channels (all LEDs on) and disconnect them all. There's 29w of other load on the battery, and with all the LEDs on the load rises to 54w which means the LEDs apply a load of 25 watts (for the whole 5m of tape), so that's 5 watts per meter. This tape is not as bright as 16w of LEDs I have fitted nearby, and at 18w/m it should be blindingly bright. Also it flickers horribly - even though I've cut it down to 2 x 2.5 lengths and used larger wires to supply power (from fully charged 200 Ah "12v" lithium battery). What the supplier said about powering from both ends is complete rubbish - it still flickers. If you're using this as the sole light source in a room the effect is enough to make you start losing your mind after about ten minutes. Don't buy this misadvertised junk.

Product. The colours are great, dimmed very low to super bright, and the extra warm white LED works independently to the red, green and blue. The reel comes with a 5 pin connector on both ends allowing for quick daisy-chaining. Can be cut into segments of 5cm of consisting of 3 sets of LED's Customer service. I had a problem and went through some diagnostics with customer services, and all was resolved in 24 hours.

L'unica modifica che ho fatto è taglarla in due ed alimentare individualmente i due tronconi da 2,5 mt per evitare cadute di tensione e quindi variazioni di tonalità. Il biadesivo sotto alla striscia non è particolarmente forte ma comunque sufficiente. La consiglio

Descrizione non veritiera ; la striscia è 10 mm e non 12 come in descrizione. Acquistati accessori x striscia da 12 mm che non potrò utilizzare. Inoltre la potenza espressa in Watt è la metà di quella indicata. Delusione totale perché, oltre a non poter effettuare il lavoro, dovrò anche acquistare accessori idonei. Aggiornamento alla data del 7 Gennaio 2023, pur avendo avuto rassicurazioni della modifica della descrizione dell'articolo, da parte del fornitore, ad oggi trovo scritto che la striscia led ip30 ha larghezza 12 mm invece che 10 mm. (a meno che adesso venga inviata quella da 12 mm)

Funcionan muy bien pero la app de smart life esta muy limitada en las escenas. Acabo de comprar una govee m1 y muchisimo mas versatil y ya con el controlador, eliminador y app incluido. Lo unico que extraño en la govee son las automatizaciones directamente con los switches en smart life
