This review is primarily about customer service. Unfortunately the device did not work for me with pretty consistent use. I knew from reading the website and the reviews that only about 80% get benefit, so I knew it would be a gamble. As a healthcare person, the science made sense to me and I am sick and tired of dealing with my chronic nasal congestion so I ordered it. The device is well made and worked as stated, although I did have to told my head down when exhaling to get the vibration affect. My only real complaint about the device itself is that it is basically disposable after 6 months. As someone who hates waste and throwing things away, I would prefer that they make a reusable device, but I was happy to see that the have a recycle program so it can be sent back. I happened to notice an add for the Sinusonic on Facebook that said 30 day money back guarantee, which I did not know about when I ordered it. I emailed the company about it and was at day 25 since my purchase through Amazon. I expected to hear back that since I ordered through Amazon that I was out of luck or something like that, but I got an email back from the company within about a half hour and was told that they would issue a refund and that they really wanted the device to help people. A few email exchanges later, they submitted a refund through Amazon, which I received the next day and sent me a pre paid label to return the device for recycling! That is some of the best customer service that I have had. From many reviews it looks like this works for a lot of people and I can certainly see the potential for it. Happy to now that they meant it when they said 30 money back guarantee if it doesn't work and they honored it.

I was told about this product by a friend of mine. He saw an ad for it and knew that I had serious sinus issues. When I looked at the product, I had never heard about it. But, looking for some relief from my issues. I thought I would give it a try. I got the product on May 15, 2023. I started using it a few days later. I left for Europe on May 30, 2023 and took the Sinus Sonic with me. I kept trying it, hoping that with some use it would start working. It never made a difference. I was on my way home from Europe on June 16, 2023 when I found out that my Father had died that evening. I got home to Florida and immediately went to Georgia. I was dealing with family issues for 2 weeks. I just got around to sending a message to Amazon and the seller that I wanted to return the product. Neither would accept it and said I had used it for over 30 days. Well, isn't that the point? Give it some to work. Well, it NEVER worked for me. It's just an overpriced air hose. My ENT said I should have known better. Do the sinus rinses as he suggested.

I think this does an OK job of clearing my sinuses when they are congested. The problem is that the device has a limited time battery and no way to replace it. I am sure the company COULD do that, but they would rather charge you $64.95 to buy a whole new device every six months. They say that they you can send the device back once battery dies, and they will recycle it and will give you a 25% discount on your next purchase, BUT BUT BUT they do not provide any postage to do that. For me to send the device back was going to be $7, plus finding and preparing appropriate packaging, plus the time of taking it to the post office or UPS, and with all of those costs to mail it back, ultimately the 25% discount is actually only like 10%. Plus, to get the "discount" you can't reorder through Amazon, you have to go through their website which the cheapest shipping added another $10+ to the cost. So ultimately, by sending back your device to recycle it and using their "discount," you will pay approximately $3 more than if you just throw away the dead device and order another one through Amazon Prime with free shipping. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, especially when it seems to me that the "recycling" they are doing is probably pulling the device apart, putting in a new battery, and re-selling it.

The SinuSonic has an end-of-life timer that deactives the device after 6 months regardless of the amount of use. The device will then only emit a 3-note tone. You could reset this timer on previous models by removing or replacing its internal AA batteries. Newer models retain the end-of-life timer in flash memory so changing the batteries won't reset anything. However, you can erase the timer memory and re-start the 6-month cycle by following the simple directions below. 1. Remove the top cap by carefully prying up the plastic retaining tabs at the base of the cap and it will pop right off. Don't lose the metal ball directly beneath it. 2. Starting at the top, use a small screw driver to separate the seam. Pry in on the half that has the tab holders to avoid breaking as many as possible. 3. Remove and replace the 3 AA batteries. Press start button at the center of the circuit board. You should hear the same 3-note end-of-life tone. 4. Put one battery in backwards and press the start push button at the center of the circuit board for a few seconds. Then put the battery in the correct direction and press the start button again. You should hear a normal continuous tone. If you don't, try the process again. 5. Reassemble the unit, making sure to put back the metal ball which adds resistance when exhaling.
