These bookbinding boards are available in various weights, and I've used them all, from the very thick 80 pound to the thinner 20 pound. Depending on your requirements, pick the thickness and weight you need for your project. We needed this weight to make the backing for notepads, and it was perfect.

Use this to make game boards and it works like a dream. It's sturdy and functional. Even after holes have been drilled through it for different games.

Chipboard is as described, but was delivered with a serious bow as you can see in the picture. This will make it very difficult to use on the laser as it won't sit flat in the bed.

These are great “placemats” for use in teaching my Zentangle (tm) classes. Students can also use them to take notes.

I was disappointed in this item. I previously ordered the same product in a small size and LOVED it, sturdy and great for making notebook covers. Somehow this product it is too flimsy, it will not work for a hard cover. Its medium weight, just like my previous purchase. If i try to use 2 at a time, it is still too flimy. Will have to return for sure.

good cardboard backing with similar thickness to those you find at the back of writing pads. works well as backing to post 11x17 printouts for teaching purposes. will buy more in the future.

This chipboard is 0.03 inches. Medium weight is typically ~0.055. Much thinner than usual medium weight. DO NOT BUY if searching for typical medium weight. Dimentions were 11x17.

I am a mixed media artist specializing in Collage. These chipboards are absolutely perfect for my art. They hold the paper and several coats of varnish. I love them and re-order them almost every other month.
