Osaki OS- Massage Chair, Polypropylene, Black & Brown

I was cruising the internet for various massage equipment (just turned 70 and aches and pains are a daily irritating occurrence). I came across a NYTimes article in which the writer rated the 10 best massage chairs for under $3,000. Thinking this was not some shill paid to provide a favorable review, I read the article. It was extensive and rated various chairs with the Osaki chair rated number 1. The price was right and the review was very favorable so I ordered the chair. It arrived on a palette. I bribed two other elderly buddies to help me move the chair from the outside porch to my inside living room (the bribe consisted of 2 glasses of good read wine). We three old timers were able to get the chair in the house without too much effort. Once in the house, all I had to do was plug in the machine and turn it on. With a little manual reading and experimentation, I was able to figure out the chair and which settings were ideally suited for my wife and I. We have used the chair most days since its arrival. We have found that certain settings aren't for us, i.e., leg compression doesn't work for my wife's varicose veins, and which settings are ideal for us, i.e., the entire back setting while reclining and heat turned on is the ticket. Summarizing, the chair fits our needs, it didn't cost an arm and a leg, and we are quite satisfied.

We purchased this for my father in law and then purchased for ourselves. After testing out his. Well worth the money. Delivery was on point with no assembly required. Just plug it in and go.

The chair is nice. The massage is a little intense. You can adjust the pressure a little but it's still pretty hard. But, overall it's a good massage chair.

This chair works so well compared to others I’ve tried , from heat to message it’s wonderful and I recommend to anyone ,your ,able to unpack from box n plug in ,no tools required ,get ready for a beautiful message with this chair ,on another note the shipper had problems delivering to my area ,resulting in extra week waiting for another shipper to pick up and finish delivery

Haven't tried it out yet!! Osaki just leaves a 230 pound box on your front lawn. You have to open it assemble it and bring in the house yourself. Neither Amazon or Osaki tell you this when you are buying the $2000. chair.I am 76 a diabetic with a heart condition and they expect me to carry it into my house and assemble it. Most people who buy these chairs are old or have conditions that would not allow them to carry this item a step let alone up stairs.They finally picked it up and I am still waiting for my refund!

I can't get my husband out of the chair so I can have a turn! He finds it very helpful for his back pain. I find it very soothing and relaxing. And I'm thrilled about the price. I've been looking at massage chairs for four years. I'm so happy I waited and chose this one. My only negative feedback, is that I'd like a more thorough written explanation of the controls.

Chair stopped working after 2 years and 11 months. Osaki and Titan Chair LLC refuse to replace (under warranty) or even sell us the parts to repair.

Chair developed a noise in the footrest. Contacted Osaki/ Titan for advice almost three weeks ago and have not heard a peep since. Was promised a service tech/ parts within three- six days- nothing. Contacted their service line and left a message (they evidently do not monitor their phones) and still haven't heard back. This is an American company and if is how they handle warranty service, I would recommend buying anther brand.
