ASICS Men's Gel-Excite 6 Running Shoes

I bought these for my 12 year old son. He has finally graduated to adult shoes. I LOVE this brand and try to only purchase ASICS. They fit him perfectly, loved the “cool” colors, and will last him until he outgrows them. He is going through many growth spurts and for the quality and price you can not go wrong. Due to CIVOD, we were not at the gyms. Now, we have been going back. He wears them to work out in and for everyday use. He loves that they are comfortable on his feet and that his feet don’t sweat. No stinky shoes!!!

The weight of my shoe (sz.15) is very light and very supportive too. I have worn ASICS for a long time now but did not have the money for the Kayano’s this time so I bought a cheaper model. A fabulous shoe despite the lower price. Very happy with these even at my jogging weight of 245 I have plenty of padding and comfort. Fits normally.

These may be my favorite shoes of all time. The fit is exceptional. The toe base is not as wide as the wide part of the foot, so you get a perfect fit. The heal is also a bit snugger so it gives you optimal support. They are really comfortable and I can’t tell you how many compliments I get when wearing them. Great shoes!

As a serious runner, this is a very competent running shoe. Like most ASICS shoes, they are well built and designed. They are not overly cushioned or too firm. They are great training shoes that you’ll enjoy putting on for your runs. I used to prefer Saucony shoes, but they now tend to be cheaply made, too cushiony, and lack lateral stability. Can’t go wrong with these.

I will always have issues with dual limb,body-wide lymphedema so when the fluids build up my shoes had to go. These shoes are totally amazing!! I'm disabled and considered a fall risk so I needed grip and boy do I have it and the feel is off the charts comfy for walking!! My feet thank you and love you to bits!!💞💞💞💞

I've only had these for a little over 2 months, so I can't speak for the wear or longevity, but so far I'm very happy with them. I've never ordered athletic shoes online before, so I was concerned about getting the right size. I got my usual 10.5 (although sometime I'm 11) and they fit just a little too snugly. But I decided to keep this size and I'm fine with it being snug. They provide excellent support for my daily walks (2-4 miles brisk daily) which was what I needed because my feet started getting sore from the additional walking I've been doing since working from home during the COVID pandemic. They are giving me the extra support that my feet "sorely" needed. Highly recommended.

After visiting my podiatrist addressing my plantar fasciitis, he recommended this type of shoe. He said he and his son both found them to be great as is (with no aftermarket insole) for comfort and preventing plantar fasciitis flare ups. I used to swear by Superfeet insoles, but putting them in my last pair of shoes (Saucony), my flare ups came back. He said it was probably due to too much arch support with that type of shoe PLUS the Superfeet insole...which was too much. With these Asics, so far so good. The factory insole is very soft and comfy for my heels.
