For emergency use primarily, the size and the storage bag are nice and will store well in my SUV. Since this is late Spring, I do not expect to need to use it until the coming winter, but will store it in my SUV anyway. Have ordered a pair of soft shackles to go with it and a specialty 2" receiver for ease of use. Now I just need to get a receiver hitch installed on my SUV! Looks good, seems to be built well, much safer than a tow strap, which I also carry in case I need extra length. Finally got to use it to help pull a dead tree off a friends house, worked well!

I used this for the first time where we were violently yanking. I had my Tacoma buried in a snow filled ditch, a friend backed all the way up to my front bumper getting a run on the entire 20’ of the strap with his Duramax. It took several violent yanks and didn’t break, you can actually feel it stretch and make it less violent on your truck. I’m impressed with it especially for the price. I’ll buy another one now for a backup. The soft shackles worked great as well.

I realize this thing is cheap and probably not as good as the expense of guys, however for the few times that I've had to pull other Jeepers out this thing has worked fantastically. It's claim to fame is to pull out one of the new four-door broncos after it tried to follow me. Absolutely works as advertised.

I've only used this one time, but was incredibly impressed. The "stretch" or it's kinetic ability was phenomenal. I gave a pretty big "tug" and the rope stretched and compressed back very cleanly, without any type of "jerk". Pulled a truck out of a ditch, that was quite steep. I really didn't think i would pull it out, but this thing was almost miraculous! Maybe I just got lucky on this first time use...but I was very happy with the way this rope performed. So much so, that I bought another to put in my truck!

Well this might be a "truck" rated recovery strap but it has worked really well as a heavy atv recovery strap. Because my company buys recovery straps that are rated for the same as this strap is and I have personally snapped 4 in similar situations as in the video. But the biggest benefit with this strap is the reduced impact on on your body compared to non-kinetic straps. Because where I work if you're working you'll get stuck and pulling out a 600# atv that has a 2500# trailer behind it isn't easy with just 1 atv. So to pull them out usually you have to snatch them with the hope they get out. This results in the guy pulling getting jerked forward and slamming his knees or hurting his wrists from the force holding you back. But with this most of the time the guy pulling won't feel the pull much at all while the guy getting pulled usually just gets a smooth firm tug that is really effective. I know my usage isn't the normal kind but I'm really glad I bought this and now the only problem when using it is making sure no one else takes it for themselves.
