Finally took the plunge and replaced my old chair that finally gave way and left me like a stranded turtle! I normally cheap out on things like chairs but since I've started remote working, I've found it to be completely worth the cost. I love how robust the chair feels being that I'm not far off 19 stone and it doesn't groan and whine at me like my old one, the only downside of this is the chair itself is quite weighty but I prefer that as it adds to the sturdy feel. The seat itself is comfy and has a wide seat base so you don't feel like you've gotten yourself wedged in a doorway and the back can be adjusted to suit either an up right sitting position which has helped me when working or the more lazy laid back angle great for watching tv shows and films. The arm adjustments are great, they go up, down, sideways, forwards, diagonal really nice to get them in the perfect position for long hours of working/gaming. Like a couple of the other reviewers I've ditched the bottom pillow from the chair as I just couldn't make it work for me, but I think that's a personal preference and might give it another shot at some point as the supports themselves are really nicely made. I would agree with another reviewer that the movement on the headrest support could be better with slightly large slits to adjust the height but I've made it work for me. In summary the chair looks great, feels great and justifies the cost which is why I decided to write my very first review as I feel the product deserves it.

Sturdy, comfortable, what more do you need from a chair? I use this everyday, is a good quality item. Putting it together was quite easy, had the right parts and came with an allen key. If you are using on a hardwood floor I would recommend having a mat underneath to stop the wheels scratching the floor (like with any chair with plastic wheels)

I deliberated over getting my partner a replacement computer chair for many many many hours. Studying all the reviews of other chairs I came to the conclusion that you cant please all the people all the time and that ppl are too picky and complaining about any new chair they buy. I decided to take the chance on this one and I am delighted at its quality. It is easy to put together/ sturdy, nice and wide so you are not welded into position and unable to move freely ( a common problem with bucket type seating ) . The seat is nice and wide and all the width is usable with no uncomfortable raised ridges at the sides. I RECOMMEND THIS SEAT AT THE PRICE I PAID , £200. SHOULD THE PRICE BE HIGHER THAN THIS AT THE TIME YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW THEN IT MAY BE WORTH LOOKING AT NOBLE CHAIRS ETC .... BUT THEY ARE OVERPRICED AND HAVE SIDE RIDGES IN THE SEATING WHICH MASSIVELY REDUCES THE WIDTH OF THE USABLE SEATING AREA... SO MAYBE STILL GO WITH THIS CHAIR UPTO MAYBE AROUND THE £250 MARK ;-) .

As I have stated in other reviews, I have recently moved and am working on a strict budget. One area though, that I have to spend a little more on, is office/gaming chairs as I have quite a serious spinal condition and no chair is completely comfortable for me. Ideally, I'd love to spend a £1000 or more and get one that has decent massage, heat and makes my dinner but I just cannot do that. Also, finding a chair that suits you, online, is never easy as there are just so many different brands, models and prices but I thought going for something in the £250-300 range would be good enough for me, support wise, without breaking my bank balance too much. I've never had an Anda Seat before but this Dark Demon Pro is easily the sturdiest and quietist chair I've owned. Arm Rests are height adjustable and can point straight, diagonally inwards and outwards as well as sliding backwards and forwards. Lumbar support cushion does give me support. Head cushion is a little low but I'm 6ft 2 and I have to sit at a slightly odd angle, but I can get it in the right place with a little adjusting, although a shorter person wouldn't have an issue. Both cushions are removable so if you don't like them then it's an easy fix. The recline goes much further back than I thought it would, and is very comfortable (even for me), but the chair never feels unsteady (I weigh over 19 stone). It is also larger than many gaming/office chairs with a higher back and wider seat so you don't feel restricted or shoehorned in. Castors are quiet and the chair moves extremely quietly over the floor of my first floor flat with very little effort. It also looks nice. I cannot give any info on assemby as I didn't do that, but it looked simple enough. For the price it is easily the best gaming/office chair I've owned.

Chair arrived last week (2 days early) and I have been using it for working during the day and gaming in the evenings. Been really comfy all day long and I can’t fault it. It appears to be very well made although whether or not it will survive the test of time remains to be seen. I’ll edit this again around the 12month mark with an update on that. Chair is very easy to set up and comes with the tools needed to do so. Note the chair is large, very large! But that makes it all the more comfortable. I’m 6ft and 13stone and I dare say the chair could probably accommodate double my weight! In terms of comfort the bigger the better but I would recommend measuring up if space is tight. Neck pillow is really comfy, I’ve fallen asleep a couple of times in it already. Lumber pillow is good quality too but personally I’ve never got on with them. There is loads of adjustments on this chair including the arm rests which move every way imaginable. This is handy as you can lower the chair and arms rests to tuck it under a desk to save space. **** 3.5 years later update (last photo). So it’s safe to say this chair has surpassed the test of time. It’s got comfier as time has gone on, been dismantled and moved many times and works just as well as it did out of the box. If my house ever suffers an air strike and the chair is destroyed I will most certainly be buying another one! ****

So, this is my new chair for my make shift office at home whole Covid-19 lockdown is in full swing! Very very happy with my choice. The box is very big (kids have now taken it to their room for a base as always) but I did manage to move it around the house on my own. Would be best with two people are present for sure, but one can do it if needed. Took about 15 mins to build and was extremely easy to do. All the tools need are included which consist of 2x Allen Keys. Once built it’s just a matter of putting on the pillows and you are done. Leather is great quality! I think it will get even more comfortable once softens up / broken-in slightly over time. After a week of use I swear it is even nicer already. Back Support Pillow: At first, I wondered if I even needed and after playing around decided to leave it off. The chair was fine without it but after a few days (maybe when the novelty of shifting around all the time stopped) I put it back on and found it’s even better for my support once set up correctly for me. My only ‘wish’ is the back-support pillow was a little easier to adjust up and down when the seat reclines back fully. I found the easiest way to solve this, is to just remove it in these times but to be honest it is a small thing and how often do you really need to lay down in this chair? Adjustments are very neat and do everything needed. You can adjust the seat angle for how your feet meet the ground, height (of course), then the back with adjusting the pillow(s) as further support. While on some resent video calls, a few people have seen the shape of the chair and instantly commented on it. . . . that goes to show how stunning it looks. Amazing chair!

the frame quality seems okay but the threads for the screws were all rusty, So i even have that in doubt for holding up over time, Anyway, After having the chair for roughly 16 hours and using it for around 8 hours, I returned for a refund due to the edges of the inside seat cusion collapsing and causing pain and restricted blood flow to my leg even when at the lowest setting and i weigh 70kg (just over 11 stone) which is less than half of the weight limit. Plus not only did that happen but i started to get a pain in my left shoulder blade which is still present now even after 2 weeks of not using the chair, i assume this is because the cusion on the back-rest of the chair was coming away from the back support in the upper left corner, I only noticed this before de-assembly for pickup. I would of thought that this chair was going to be great due to all the 5 start reviews but it wasn't, It's been a major let down due to me needing a new desk chair and looking around for over a year. I suppose i will just buy the regular office chairs you see everywhere, just be wary if considering to buy because if anything goes wrong, trying to get a return without paying for the return is a nightmare even if you have problems with the chair and start the return less than 24 hours after purchase.
