Great coffee grinder
Works very well and it’s nice that it includes an extra glass jar with a lid for additional grounds storage. It takes a minute to adjust the burr size but once you have it locked down, it certainly provides a consistent grind size through and throughout. Overall I’m very pleased with this manual burr grinder as it is much quieter than my electric one that has a tendency to wake up my entire family early in the morning! This is perfect to travel with or take camping as well. Definitely recommend this product if you are a coffee snob like me. Ha!

Love the Ease
Bremen Manual Coffee Grinder was so easy to set up the first time and use. Adjusting the grind was super easy. Turning the handle was very easy on even the finest grind. It was easy to fill the top with beans and grind a full jar. I love the second jar with the lid and the rubber antislip cover for the bottom. The antislip cover transfers super easily from one jar to the next.

Missing part?
Works very slow and has an uneven grind, likely has a missing piece in the one they shipped me.If they are all like this, where the burr just dangles and there is no bushing supplied to hold it centered, then this grinder is poorly designed. Will update my review if Grosche sends me the missing bushing.

works wonders
Recently ordered this coffee grinder. It works amazing. It delivers a consistent grind every time, enhancing the flavor of my coffee. It's easy to use, portable, and perfect for coffee lovers who appreciate a hands-on approach. Got a cute little extra jar with it to keep coffee.

Slow, but perfect grind.
TL/DR: smooth and adjustable. Great for coffee or spices. Downside: grinding is slow. Would I buy again? Probably, but I'm tolerant of the time it takes to grind. This grinder is essentially infinitely adjustable with a slight turn of the adjustment nut, making for the perfect grind. However, it can take a minute or two to grind enough for your morning cup. Filling the little jar that comes with it is about a week of coffee for me and takes maybe 15-25 minutes depending on how lazily I'm grinding it and can be a bit of a workout. I don't mind this but if you have multiple coffee drinkers in the house jt can get kind of tedious. For spice grinding, again, it gets a perfect grind to the consistency you might prefer. I love using it for homemade spice blends. It's not as smooth a grind action with some hard spices like cinnamon chips, however, these same chips are the ones that broke a lower quality grinder I was using previously.A fun hack to avoid the biggest downside of slow grinding: attach the chuck of an electric drill to the bolt where the handle goes and grind a whole bag of coffee in a couple minutes!

Small and simple
Small and simple grinder, bought it to take camping I like that it is a lot quieter and doesn’t need electricity. It takes some muscles and adjusting it is a little tedious, but once you get it dialed in it works great and it seems study enough to last a long time

It takes a little work to use (hey, it's manual, not electric…), but works well
This functions exactly as described. This type of "burr" coffee grinder was recommended by a specialty coffee company over the blender blade style most popular coffee "grinders" are; electric burr type grinders with decent ratings and such seem to go $80 and up (mostly up), and we usually buy ground coffee so I thought I'd get this. It works fine, but as some other reviewers have noted, it does take some work and it's hard to hold the thing dead steady while turning the handle. If you are very small or weak, you may have issues, but most people will not, and some wiggling of the unit as you turn is not a significant issue. UPDATE: I have only run a few varieties of coffee through this grinder, it's working fine, but it seems like darker roast beans are much much easier to grind while lighter roast ones are more difficult. Maybe they will come out with one that is built into an exercise cycle, improve your health and grind a lot of beans very easily! If you get only whole bean coffees and have to grind a lot of it, this is probably not a good choice unless you are trying to punish yourself, but for occasional use, or in a power failure, or (as another reviewer noted) on a boat, or camping, etc., it's great. It is well built. The instructions are okay but note that the adjustment (fine to coarse) is effected by holding the shaft steady (by hand or with the "key", etc.) and turning the notched wheel, not just by placing the key in a different slot. Trial and error. One you get it set the way you wish, it works fine.
