Used this in my Ninja 250 to store it for 5 months during the winter. I used a tad bit less that what the bottle says in my gas tank. I also drained the carb bowls after running the bike with the additive in it. Been riding the bike for over two weeks now and the bike started right up and I have no evidence that the gas is bad. Worked fine for me.

Helped stabalize and clean the bike
I bought this for the motorcycle to help stabilize the fuel so that it doesn't clog up the fuel injectors. My mechanic informed me that a clogged fuel injector for the Yamaha '09 FZ6R could cost near $600-800 to fix, so it is worth the $8 up front to pour some fuel stabilizer in. I ran the bike to to empty poured in 4 gallons of fresh gas with 4 oz of this stuff (shook it around), following the instructions to run the bike for 10 minutes to let it cycle through everything.. After sitting for 3 weeks, I took the bike out for a ride since it has warmed up and the bike ran smoother then it had during the summer. This brand lists that it helps clean out the fuel injectors as well, and I think it did, that or the stabilized fuel makes the bike purr so much better. Since I've only used this for 3 weeks now, I don't know how it will last over months, but so far so good. I would buy again. As for the shipping, I purchased from "Hires Automobile". The items arrived quickly, in a small box wrapped in bubble wrap. Under the bubble wrap the item is secured in a ziplock style bag, which the seller realizes is needed because the fuel stabilizer leaked all over the place. Looking at the bottle the level of the fuel stabilizer is now down to the bottom of the label, not near the top as shown in the picture, so this was really a purchase of 13 oz not 15oz. take this into account when judging prices. It was still cheaper then the $8.50 for 8oz at the local parts store, (since I got 13 oz for $9.36 here). I would buy from again, but would ask the seller to better secure the top of the bottle somehow first. Maybe wrapping with shrink-wrap then re-sealing the top on it before shipping.

I've Used It For Years
It works! I add it to gas cans as well as my vehicles and lawn tools to keep fuel injectors and carburetor's in good shape.

Gotta like Lucas
Lucas Fuel Stabilizer shares the about the same upper cylinder lubrication properties as their "tune-up in a bottle" fuel treatment. I use both in my bike for that purpose. (Not at the same time. Stabilizer in the winter, treatment the rest of the year.) I have to use gas that is of uknown origin and quality. These products are cheap insurance against bad gas. Another big reason i chose both Lucas products, is that unlike Stabil, Lucas products can be shipped to an overseas APO address. Good quality, good value.

Product works; one bottle leaked in shipping.
One bottle leaked a little in shipping, I found it to be loose when tested; otherwise great product.

This is priced well. Bought two bottles. I use it in my Lawn Mower as they are not used for around five months a year. Also use in my vehicle tanks and boat. Does it work. I don't know. I suppose the easiest way to find out is to stop using it. I have had enough of stale fuel and gummed up carburetors so I use this. Adds to the cost but pulling the fuel system to pieces and cleaning is a pain and you have to know what you are doing.

Saves a lot of trouble cleaning out gunked up carbs.
