At a birthday party with excitement bouncing off the walls, the guidebook for this Origami Kit was never found. So, the cute shiny and brilliantly colored origami paper was completely useless without the instructions. There is no website to see the guidebook and so I emailed customer service to Hiraliy. At first, I googled and sent an email with no response. But there is a different one on the box: [email protected]. The company not only sent me via email the digital copy of the 55-page instruction book but also sent me a new kit (which I didn't ask for) at their expense. My customer service was beyond expectations. I only expected the guidebook. This was superb customer service, so for those customers who have doubts about Chinese manufacturers in particular, no worries here. It is difficult for me to imagine many businesses absorbing the expense of a product and replacing it when the customer did not request such action. Wonderful product and service--will buy from Gamenote again, since their Origami kit is the best I've given as gifts to children 5-9 years old! Try them--you won't be disappointed!

This is a very cute origami set however, the recommendation that this is a three year-old and over toy is a little bit deceiving. I do not think that this is meant for actual children to do by themselves. Adults are definitely required to read the directions and some of the directions are complicated. I do like this, but I thought this was an introduction to origami for children and I think it’s a little bit more advanced

Love this! It came with 2 sets of each paper. It says the idea is for parents to sit down and do it with their kids, which I thought is very thoughtful. It also works for 2 siblings to have a set or as a backup if one gets messed up. They are colorful, cute, and fun. Not too hard, but some take a few minutes to make. Good instruction book with illustrated directions on each one. Even better, each one has a link you can click on with your phone to watch a YouTube video for instructions. I rarely take time to make reviews, but feel this product is outstanding!

This was a gift for a 8 yo girl. I had sent her an Origami frog, and she was then wanting to learn how to do Origami. Since I don't live close to her, I opted to send her this kit. It was perfect! She is so excited with every project she does, and there are many. She sends me pictures of her completed projects. The specially printed paper for each project makes it more exciting for kids!!!!! I think this is the perfect stepping stone to a love of Origami!!!!!

I don’t know how this is for ages 3 and up, I tried to do some of the origami as an adult and found the instructions complicated to follow at times and couldn’t figure it out. My kids like folding and cutting paper so I thought this would be a great busy craft for them but they lost interest rather quickly when they couldn’t figure out each of the steps.

THIS IS THE BEST PAPER FOLDING EVER .I LIKE THE WAY THEY HAVE THE PAPER ALL COLORED IN, SO YOU CAN FOLD IT EASILY. IT LOOKS SO GOOD, WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED! LOVE IT,LOVE IT .THEY THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING!

Good quality paper. I found it to be a bit hard to understand the instructions, but it’s a great activity to pass time with your kids or learn some origami.

Es un libro para hacer figuras de origami muy completo, divertido y con papel de muy buena calidad, para pasar buenos ratos entretenido con los peques y los no tan peques, trae 108 hojas para hacer los origamis , casi todas son figuras bonitas, coloridas y divertidas, además trae hojas extras para poder practicar antes de empezar y así tener más habilidad, las instrucciones para doblar las páginas y hacer las figuras vienen muy detalladas, por lo que resulta muy fácil para los peques. Mi hijo está encantado con el libro, enseguida comenzó a practicar, para hacer sus figuras, trae figuras de diferentes dificultad, con lo cual se puede ir empezando por las más sencillas, cuando hizo la primera se puso muy contento y no quería parar. Muy recomendable para ir aprendiendo hacer papiroflexia. Es un regalo perfecto con el que acertarás de lleno.

Pas toujours évident mais très sympa

I got this beginner’s origami set for my two granddaughters. Because it was a gift, I just briefly saw its contents. It looked an all inclusive introduction with manual and paper. If the children’s interest continue, I might look at more advanced origami kits. As yet, I have had no feedback about whether they tried it or if they are in anyway interested. Time will tell!
