Dragon Touch 10 Inch Tablet, 2GB RAM 16GB ROM Storage, Quad-Core Processor, 10.1 IPS HD Display, Micro HDMI, Android Tablets 5G Wi-Fi, Metal Body, K10 Model, Sliver : desertcart.co.uk: Computers & Accessories Review: I'm back on the Tablet(s)! - For approx £100 you cannot go wrong with this Dragon Touch tablet. Very smart, slick piece of equipment., plus the stainless steel back feels really good quality. It looks like an iPad but is much, much cheaper, which for someone on a budget is totally out of my league ( & I prefer Android anyway, but Samsung was too expensive too). Because I have Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy - a chronic, incurable progressive neurological illness caused by repeated spinal cord compression causing incomplete spinal cord injury, resulting in increasing symptoms of paralysis from the neck down, I struggle to read & type on a small smartphone screen due to reduced manual dexterity, I needed something that was more accessible for me. I was initially thinking of a Kindle Fire as I was wanting to read more, but wanted more functionality & also wanted an ad-free experience. Furthermore, the model I was after was more expensive. So I took a punt on this & honestly, I'm really pleased I did. It's the best birthday present that I've given myself in a long time. I upgraded the memory with a 128GB memory card - I bought a relative cheap Sandisk one which I formatted with no problem. At the time I was given an advisory that it wouldn't be fast enough for streaming stuff, but to be honest, I've had no problems. The negatives are few. Minor niggles at best. Firstly, compared to a Kindle it is heavier, but I use a case with built in stand so that problem is overcome & the camera spec is a bit limited, but I would tend to use my phone for taking pictures anyway. The sound quality could be better as it's speaker system isn't the best but I don't use it for music out loaud anyway. For streaming etc, I tend to keep my noise to myself & the sound quality is much improved by the use of headphones/ear buds - it has a headphone jack or you can use Bluetooth if preferred So all in all I am one very happy customer. EDITED 16/01/2021 Still happy with it & I paid for mine - no freebies for me. Review: great value - Purchased to use for showing portfolio and displaying photos via bluetooth from my DSLR to clients. I no longer have to hand over my expensive camera, and it makes socially distanced reviewing of images easy as the screen is large and clear. I think for the the price this is an amazing bit of kit and a game changer for photoshoots. I've been frustrated with my kindle fire for a while as there are so many apps I can't install on it from Google Play, but on this device it's a breeze. Very simple to set up and use, and build quality seems sturdy.

It lasted well
I bought this in 2020 and lasted nearly three years before it has stopped working with an average use of 3-4 hours a day. For the price I paid it gave very good value. The screen quality is decent and it is easy to use. The storage runs out very quickly after loading a few apps. The battery life is below average and doesn't last a day on full charge. Overall, it has been a good buy but now it needs to be replaced.

Great at first but don't expect it to last long
I've had this tablet less than a year and it has stopped working. I know it wasn't as expensive as others, but I would expect something to last at least a year before it breaks down!

Really not that great, and has played dead 3 times
I bought this as I had dropped a Samsung Galaxy Tab, and couldn't stomach forking out near on £200 for another one. This tablet has been 'OK'. It's plastic-y and creaky, definitely not 'slim' but not heavy to be fair. Its not the quickest , noticeably laggy after my Samsung., but again it's 'OK' for browsing and basic stuff. Battery life was 'OK' but unimpressive. I guess you get what you pay for. Twice it has just gone 'dead' on me (maybe three times?) in 9 months I got it going again with the 'reset' before, but this evening it just died while I was browsing and doesn't seem to want to come back to life this time. Prompted me to write a review. I'm half relieved to be honest. I'll get myself a better one again. Dragontouch - you need to do better.

Excellent Touch screen - superb quality for price.
We bought this for our 6 year old daughter after reading numerous reviews of different similar priced tablet. Originally we bought a Vankyo MatrixPad but sent it back after a couple of days as screen was not responsive enough for her to do her working from home on. I am very pleased to say the K10 is a huge improvement. the touch screen sensitivity is great both with her finger or the active stylus we bought for her to use with it. For the price this really is great quality. its not quite as quick as the Vankyo but the screen more than makes up for it.
