Beautiful timers!
These timers are the best!!! I have five, it’s a collection. I set all five and when they all go off at the same time or within seconds of each other, I just love it. The colors are so vibrant just amazing. I could say I’m kind of addicted but I will stop at five. I wanted to get the blue one, but it’s always out of stock so I may get it. We’ll see sure looks pretty on my refrigerator all of them. What I don’t understand , is when people say it doesn’t work they must not be following the directions , going all the way back past 55 coming all the way back to what they need the timer set for and stopping there, all five of mine work perfect , never had a problem with any of them.

Doesn’t Always Ring
I loved it for eleven months then the ringer stopped working every time. It has been used no more than 2-3 times a month. It still ticks and counts down but the bell does not always sound at completion, the ticking just stops. I really put considerable time and research into finding a kitchen timer that would last. Sadly, I made the wrong selection. It does have a nice strong magnet and looks really nice though.

Well-made timer
I bought this to replace a Cilio timer I loved. I looked at a lot of timers before buying this one, and I'm glad I did! It's smaller than I'd like, and the ticking isn't very loud, so sometimes it's hard to tell it's actually working. The alarm (when mounted on the refrigerator) is louder than the Cilio and startled me at first, but it's not too loud. The timer has a good weight to it, the magnet sticks well to the refrigerator, and it feels like it's well-made and should last for at least the 8 years the Cilio timer did.

SO FAR, EXCELLENT
After reading a zillion reviews of this and other brands, this one had the fewest complaints, flaws and bad marks. I treat it carefully, without banging or clunking, stick at hand height on my oven, always turn it to 55, then back to desired timeliness, and it has performed excellently. One observation: if it is in process, and more time is desired, it needs to be taken, or allowed to go to 0, then 55 and reset. If there is remaining time, and the dial is turned to 55, the ringer does not go off. This tick is soft, but the bell can be heard in my small house (one story, less than 1000 ft.2) from any room. I wish you well in your choices.

It works great
I love this. If you turn it all the way to 55 then back to the amt of time you want it works great. It's heavy but just right. The magnet works great. I needed a timer for my stove and this magnets right to it. Very easy to use. Comes in many colors and yes it make a little ticking sound after the bell just like the old ones did. Simple yet elegant. A bit pricy but I wanted one. I probably would buy more if the price was half. LOVE LOVE Thank you.

Stopped working after just a few months
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I had one of these, same brand, for years and years. It finally stopped working so I bought this one to replace it. It lasted a few months and then it would sometimes stop before the time was met. This happened more and more and it got to the point where we were setting a timer on the phone in case it stopped. At that point it seemed pointless to have the alarm. Past the return window, so had to just throw it out. This used to be a great timer, but I can't recommend it now.

Failed after 1 week. Another victim to the modern trend of inferior goods.
I like the look, I hate the function. Magnetizing this boldly-colored thing to my fridge door looked nice, but after 1 week of gentle and infrequent use, it stopped ringing when it hit zero. 75% of the time that I try to use it, now, when the hand hits 0 it DOESN'T ring, my food inevitably overcooks, and then the second I so much as *tap* it, it suddenly rings. It's like it's getting caught on the last tick before it can sound off... I've tried lying it flat and letting it tick that way, I've tried winding the *exact* amount and I've tried over-winding (going all the way to 55, then coming back to my desired time) and no matter what, this issue persists. I grew up with these things. They used to be bulky and reliable--nearly invincible. This is a cheaply-made impersonation of the old and good stuff. This is the product of corner cutting, inferior machining, and inferior materials. Go find a different maker/product. This is not the one for you (unfortunately).

Magnet feature is AWESOME. Color choices are AWESOME.
This attractive little kitchen timer is old-school, wind-up technology. Wind fully, then turn back to your desired setting. How I plan to use these is I got different colors - green I will use with vegetables; red with meats; etc. I can keep different timers for the different things I am cooking. And all of them OFF my countertop, stuck to my fridge, a few feet away from the range. The alarm is an old-school bell/clanky metal thing. Very different from any sounds on phones, so you won't mix it up with a spam text message or anything. You do need to RESPOND to the alarm, because you're not getting automatic 7 minute snoozes, like my phone does. But this is good practice anyway. That snooze is when you go from medium rare to a wasted piece of beef. If I had to give one criticism, it is that the smooth, curved surface is not a good grip for lifting the magnetized unit off its perch. I've had no real trouble with it, but with slippery hands, I could imagine it being dropped from time to time. But I'm really searching here for something to criticize. This is a wonderful, good-looking, useful kitchen tool. Buy it, buy a couple, enjoy.! Bon Appétit!
