Retro Farmhouse Gooseneck Wall Sconce

Just now into the farmhouse look so I got these to replace the generic lights in our corridor. They were easy to install and look great. Distressed and rustic looking, but could be a bit sturdier. The underside is painted white, which I'm not too happy about. I assume it's to make the light brighyer but it doesnt go with the rest of the light. Overall a good purchase.

I got these to use for a classroom display with remote puck lights inside rather than traditional light bulbs. They worked perfectly!

I purchased these lights to use not as intended. Therefore, my review is a little different. We don't have wired light boxes in the location I wanted to place these. I'd seen numerous how-tos for using stick-on puck lights instead of light bulbs for when lighting was wanted but a wired location wasn't possible. Putting these up was a long, frustrating process for my husband, who is very handy. He ended up having to just cut off the electrical wires to be able to mount and install these. We have yet to install the puck lights since we're not sure what method to use for it yet. I love the look these have added above our sideboard in our dining room. Upon seeing the description of the product, I thought I'd love the gold accents to the black surface. However, from afar, these look like oil-rubbed broze instead of black. Most likely, I will be taking them down and spray painting them with a matte black sheen so they truly look black. For the price, these are a steal for what I wanted to do with them. Though if you are intending to use them as we have, without using them in a wired electrical location, adapting them for puck lights is no easy feat. For the price, we were fine with cutting the wires and not having the option to use them as wired lights in the future. Also, having to paint them so they truly look black is an extra step. I'm sure there are products out there that would be a lot easier to adapt for non-wired lighting, but for this price, and since my husband is handy enough to alter them, they fit the bill.

Great addition to my farmhouse decor. They were easy to install and are very sturdy. I would love to put them in other rooms in the house.

I looked at similar fixtures at my big box store and they were nearly fifty dollars each. These are beautiful and high quality.

These lights are beautiful... however they are cheaply made. They unfortunately do not hang straight on the wall and tend to tilt forward from the base because there is nothing to screw the neck into so they tip forward. We had them hung for 3-4 days and they got worse. It’s such a shame because I really love the way they look if they would just stay upright. We are trying to make them work because I have been unable to find comparable fixtures at the usual home improvement stores in this color.

I DID NOT hardwire these! There were exactly what I wanted but we didn't have the wiring inplace to put them in ourselves, so I used remote control puck lights and glued them over the bulb socket. I cut out the wireing and screwed them over our photo gallery.

I ordered these because I saw an idea on TikTok! Instead of wiring these in, I ordered a pack of battery operated of puck lights taped them to where you would put the light bulbs, and screwed the light fixtures in the wall.
