I have a better feeling of safety by having pepper spray with me. I hope I never need to use it. It's also very pretty and doesn't look like a traditional spray.

I (thankfully) have not had to use this product, but it has given me peace of mind because I am able to carry it with me wherever I go. It's very light and compact so I am far more likely to slip it in my purse rather than something larger or more obviously marked as pepper spray. The other advantage of the small size is that it is easy to walk with my hand wrapped around it ready to go if I am walking through somewhere sketchy like a poorly-lit parking lot or dark street, but at the same time it's not obvious that I have something in my hand so passers-by won't be alarmed. While it is subtle, it is still labelled on one side so that no one mistakes it as perfume, etc. I just like that if someone catches a glimpse of it, it doesn't give the wrong impression. Since I often have to leave my job alone late at night, this has put my mind at ease. I've also recommended it to my coworkers who are in a similar situation. This is an inexpensive, non-lethal way to feel a bit more at peace. Of course it does not make one invincible by any stretch, but having some way to buy yourself a few seconds of time to get to safety could mean all the difference.

I have been looking for a pepper spray to keep in my purse for a long time. I have a small purse and so when I saw this pepper spray being described as the size of a lipstick I was all for it! It came very quickly, as Prime orders usually do, and it was packaged good. The first thing I noticed is that it is definitely not the size of a lip stick, it is bigger than a lipstick. Luckily though it is a good size to hold in the palm of your hand and it is still small enough to fit in my purse. One of my fears was that the cap would come loose and I'd end up with pepper spray in my purse. That is definitely not the case, it'd be hard for the cap to be removed unintentionally as it fits securely. I'd love to be able to review the product in action, but luckily I have not had to use it for its intended purpose. I do feel a lot more secure now having it with me. I work on a bad side of town and I go to school in another bad part of town and generally do not get to leave until after dark. This will help me feel a bit safer on the way to my car after work and/or school.

Even though this isn't exactly lipstick tube sized (It is a bit bigger along the lines of a thick mascara brush maybe) The look of this is good. My only complaint is the fact that it is hard to know at a glance where the "spray" part is. So I added a mark with permanent marker to help me out there. You could also just memorize where the logo is in relation to the spray nozzle, however that printing is already starting to rub off in the mine-field that is my purse. The top cap twists so there is no point in marking that bit. I can confirm that it is POTENT. They suggested you test-spray a bit first. When I did so (outside) it shot out smoothly with little pressure needed. I then forgot I had sprayed that area and like 10 minutes later when I walked back over to the area I started coughing and choking. That was just a tiny puff that had likely had time to dissipate in the breeze... that stuff works! Good product. I gave one to a friend of mine as we work out together a lot. There had been an incident in the area with someone who was willing to approach (even groups of two people) and threaten them. So now we both feel a little more safe.

It’s nice but larger than the POM and that sticker is hell to get the glue off, I used CRC electrical cleaner and it worked great, goof off didn’t.

PLEASE, before purchasing any pepper spray product, READ YOUR STATE'S LAWS AND REGULATIONS ON PEPPER SPRAY! Thankfully it's not illegal to carry in my state, but is under heavy restrictions and guidelines for use. Some states have limits to the size of containers or how many ounces you can carry! I initially purchased this container due to the fact both my friend and I (we were 18 at the time, we're pretty small with no self-defense training) wanted to go to a thrift store that was in a VERY sketchy area. She doesn't know as I didn't want to scare her, but I did have issues with creepy people following me around in the store whenever we went shopping. So I got this for my defense. I've never had to use it so I cannot tell you if this pepper spray is legit, but it makes me feel so much safer carrying this thing around since a lot of self-defense items in my state are illegal. Nobody has ever questioned this thing in my bag, I've been security checked at my school (we had students always making threats so our school had staff cherry-pick students to be checked at the front doors in the morning) and in other places, not even my family members and friends who have ruffled through my bag ever asked about it or used it; everyone thinks its a perfume bottle or lipstick. It's very discreet and easy to hide in small pockets in bags or clothes.

Luckily, I have not had to use this. But, I really like it. It is not as small as a lipstick, more like a travel body spray or perfume. It really does look like a cosmetic product. I keep this in the pocket of my jacket so that it's easily accesible. The top is easy to get off in a hurry. It is the number one pepper spray used worldwide by both police and general public for personal safety. I have not had any issues with leakage. It is good for up to 4 years. I paid around ten bucks for this which is a very cheap price for some added security for up to four years. Please keep in mind that any use of this product other than self defense is a crime. Do not allow children access to this. The side effects to pepper spray are awful and you would not want to use this unless absolutley necessary.
