Sturdy
These were exactly what I needed for my project. I was looking for something in the closet that could lift up my rolling clothes rack to a better height. I tried some of the others first, they did not work. I thought these looked like they would be solid enough, and they are! Not going to lie, they are a little bulky but sturdy, exactly perfect for what I was looking for.

Definitely Helped Raise the Couch!
I originally bought this to help with having to low of furniture. Husband says that it's too high now, but I love how high it made the couch. No more hurting my knees to get up off the couch. Very elegant looking, almost identical match to the couch legs and definitely very sturdy. Made it so much easier for getting off the couch. Son also said he likes it as well.

Used as Couch Risers
These were lifesavers after knee replacement surgery since they made it easier to get up and down from the couch (where I slept for two weeks until I could get upstairs.) What a great invention!

Looks ugly, but it works
Used this to raise a chaise lounge to ADA sitting height, for use as a bed, after a rather extensive and significant lumbar spinal surgery. The lounge is on a hardwood floor, so I set these risers which are plastic with no padding or gripping surface on the bottom, placed the risers on a 1/4 inch felt with natural rubber backed pad cut 10 inches by 10 inches under each riser. The wood feet of the chaise lounge are three and a half inches essentially square. The feet are hardwood. So, also cut a section of the quarter inch felt with natural rubber backing, with the felt side down inside the top of the riser, so the rubber side faces up to grip the feet of the chaise lounge. Works great! I walked up against the back of the chaise lounge and I've sat down from different directions rather briskly on it. The longer does not move in any direction.

Risers a big help for disabled
I ordered a set of these riders for my husband's sleep number bed, because he is 91 and disabled, and has difficulty getting up out of bed on his walker. This additional 5 inches of height make it much easier for him to get in and out of bed, and also helps my back in making up his bed. very sturdy and stable.

Sturdy and dependable
We used these risers in my daughter’s dorm room and couldn’t be happier. The size of them provides good space to use underneath her bed. We had no worries that they would slide or become unstable while she is in bed. I feel comfortable with her being lofted with this product

Good product but needs this improvement
We had a curved couch (8 legs) that was too low for my tall husband - so we wanted to try the risers. We ordered 2 sets and they arrived amazingly fast!! It's a rather large couch so searched for the sturdiest ones we could find - these fit the bill. Definitely a good product - but it would be SOOOOO much improved if you would put a flat bottom on the bottom of the risers. The couch we had was heavy and to try and place these under 8 legs when they could not move/slide on the carpet was a back breaking effort. Each time we would get 3 or 4 of them in place we would need to lift a different part of the couch and then the ones that were set had now jumped off the risers because the risers would not move. With a flat bottom it would be easier to place these AND easier to move the couch once they are in place - such as closer to the wall. With flat bottoms (instead of the open design), I would have given this 5 stars - otherwise, get some big guys (plural) to help set these in place.

Yes these are big and strong enough to hold up a sofa or bed but returned as there are only 2 supplied (I didn’t spot that when ordering as assumed that 4 would be the standard quantity) and was too pricey to order another 2.
