Love these pencils! You can draw with them and if you want use a water brush to make them flow like watercolor. Great fun!

This set is a great product and reasonably priced. After a recent trip to France, I had an interesting commission to create a drawing of the Eiffle Tower. I chose to use this set and it ended up giving me excellent results, with drawing/gray washes to simulate the details of the famous tower.

I use this to do an under drawing when I paint with watercolor. It dissolves really well when I apply watercolor over it. Making it a much better solution than regular graphite for an under drawing. Only issue is that if you are painting something very light colored, the color will be darkened by the graphite.

Is easy to use and great cuality

Gave these as a gift, my husband loved them. Very easy to use for beginners/novice artist. Pencils make clear/clean lines, they don't smear easily, and the eraser that comes with it works great.

I was so excited for my order and now I see they the Derwent Charcoal set is opened and missing two charcoal blocks and eraser!!!!!

Excellent for producing pre-painting sketches. The graphite all but disappears.
