Arrived safe, exactly what I needed.

It came very securely packaged and it works. I am a little disappointed that it's only 6000 lumens at 130 volts, I was expecting more for 500 watts. I had no idea what the lumens was since it wasn't listed with this item on Amazon from what I can see. I have a 300 watt/120v Sylvania Incandescent that puts out about 5870 lumens, so I was expecting about 8500 with this one. Not only that, bulbs rated at 130 volts will put out less light when operated at 120volts, so most likely this 500 watter puts out less light than the smaller PS30 300 watt Sylvania. None of this is a big issue for me since I can still use it just fine. Just thought others might like to know the lumen output listed on the box--6000 lumen at 130 volts.

Be careful, it won't fit a normal fixture and they won't exchange or refund.

High quality clear light bulb. Extremely bright; great for a garage. Make sure to buy the mogul base attachment also because this doesn't fit into the regular socket without it.

There seems to be some conflict with the lifetime rating The product description is that this is a 5000 hr average lifetime bulb. However, the packaging clearly states this is a 1000 hr lifetime bulb. It may be that it is 1000 hr at 130V, but 5000 hr at 120V but it isn't at all clear. Disappointed that I do not know what I have received.

Works great with my Tesla Coil as a flashy electrode. The lamp is HUGE so kids can really see the streamers.

We use them in our outside work lighting and they give wonderful light as we are out in the woods.
