They keep going and going
The first one I got was damaged and looked like a drone might have dropped it 50 ft. The second one is great. Seems to have good cutting power. I have a lot of bushes and still had plenty of charge left after I was done trimming them this spring. I also had some dead bushes and used this to trim away most of the branches before dealing with the stumps. Not having a cord gets rid of a lot of the aggravation of this process. I've accumulated a lot of taped up extension cords over the years. It is also easier to touch up the bushes when you get a few crazy growth spurts. Wish I had bought one of these years ago. Seem to have plenty of cutting power and the battery hasn't died yet.

Great quality!
It's a bit heavy with the battery, but boy does it do a great job! I am picky about the precision of the cut for my bushes, etc, and this one does it well. I also like the interchangeability of the batteries with my other equipment. Highly recommended.

Easy to use works great
My husband is obsessed with this tool. It was easy to learn how to use, and works really well. He uses it to cut branches/and trim leaves from the tall trees in our home.

uses 24 volt batteries which i share with other Greenworks tools making it affordable.
I have a 48Volt Greenworks mower (uses 2x 24 volt batteries). This hedge trimmer uses one 24 volt battery making it a natural choice to go with my other tools. It has a 20" length, good comfort and cut quality. I use a silicone lubricant on the blades. It starts and builds torque quickly and stops very quick once you release the grip. Will cut up to 1/2 diameter without issue.

Great product
Works as stated. Blade is sharp, cuts very well. Noise level is low and this is easy to use. I’m 67 female and have no issues using it or lifting it.

Awesome Trimmer.
This trimmer is awesome. The battery easily lasted long enough for me to trim 4 fairly large trees and it was gritty enough to cut through pencil thick branches. It saved my back and shoulders. Well done Greenworks!

I'd rather have my B&D 24" back
My 24" Black and Decker shot craps on me this week, so I went to buy another one, and discovered it's no longer available. So, I bought this Greenworks 22" unit. Having used it for the first time, I immediately found I could no longer lock it in the on position as I could with the B&D one. Now, in order to keep the blades cutting, I must squeeze the trigger constantly. With the B&D, I could lock the safety release in the "on" position and it would run until I clicked the trigger. With the Greenworks unit, having to constantly squeeze the trigger adds significantly to hand and arm fatigue in a hurry.I also miss the extra couple inches of the B&D, as now, it takes longer to trim the surface area that I have. But for some reason they don't make a 24" either. My B&D blades could be rotated, which this one's cannot. And because I must constantly squeeze the trigger, I can't hold the unit single-handedly by the forward handle instead of the rear, which used to make it much easier to trim sideways using the B&D.Otherwise, it does the job, but if I could have my B&D back, I'd trade any day.
