Came out great!
Love it! Was a little confused because the packaging was different from the one displayed on here but it's the same brand, so no complaints. They came out soft and chewy. I really like that I can adjust how sweet I want them. Just dropped them into a container with a little brown sugar, didn't even add 50% water since after draining they are still wet-ish, and mixed gently. Not sure why some people say the texture is hard? It's hella soft and chewy, and I let it simmer for 6 minutes.

Best boba!
I love this boba! Super easy to make and tastes just like the popular boba shops. In regards to all the reviews saying they don't taste right/sweet/etc... that's because they aren't being prepared correctly. You have to let the boba sit in brown sugar after cooking for a bit. I usually leave mine for at least an hour. My whole process: •Boil water (you don't need quite as much as the directions say) . •add boba and stir, return to boil •let boil for 5 minutes or a bit more if you like them super soft. •drain and dunk in cold water for 20 seconds (or just rinse under faucet for that long. •strain and put into a container of brown sugar. Stir. The liquid from the boba will dissolve the sugar and you'll have a syrup in just a few moments. •let sit for half hour to an hour at least before adding to drink of choice. •can store in the syrup for a day, just microwave in 30 second intervals until chewy again. Being careful not to overheat or they will become very hard.

They're pretty good, albeit a little expensive
I read a bunch of negative reviews and was really skeptical to buy this item but took the risk anyway and was completely surprised and confused at the reviews that I read. I saw a bunch of people say that they tasted horrible, like plastic, came completely broken or made the person who ate them sick but none of these were the case for me. Lots of people also said that they were hard to cook as well as completely flavorless, even after keeping them in sugary water but I cooked them as I would cook any other boba and put them in sugary water for a bit and they came out completely fine and pretty delicious. My only complaint would be that it's a little expensive but in my opinion, it is worth the money.

Not sweetened
Says brown sugar. Only reason I bought it. So sad you have to sweeten.

We love them!
These are our go to boba pearls! They are easy enough to make, taste great, and are perfectly soft and chewy. And the amount you get is fantastic. We are able to make lots of at-home bobas with these!

Chewy Treat
A very fast and chewy treat. I just pop it in the microwave with hot water for 2.5 minutes then mix it with any tea or milk. Highly Recommend.

Easy to cook
Where have you been all my life?? Living in the Midwest but being born and raised in LA is tough, ESPECIALLY in the boba department. After failed attempts and trying mediocre boba, I decided to go ahead and attempt to make it myself. Buddha Bubbles was my saving grace and now my go-to when a boba craving strikes. Easy to cook, no hassles, and my heart was filled with joy after pairing this with their Jasmine milk tea mix. They recommend cooking these from 5-7 minutes, but I leave mine in for about 10-12 just to get them a touch softer. I then strain them (NO RINSING) and toss them in a warm bath of 1 part water, 1 part brown sugar, and 1 part granulated white sugar so they take on a nice sweetness. Once they've steeped in this mixture for about 5 minutes or so I scoop them out with a slotted spoon into my cup and cover them with my milk tea. I figured that if the drink going on top was TOO cold these MIGHT freeze up and not be as soft, so I've nuked my milk tea a bit before pouring on top. Nonetheless, can't go wrong with these. They definitely hit the spot for me and I'm reordering them ASAP!
