Poor Boy's Game

the film was ordinary, but if you like actors you can watch danny glover, who was strong as usual, and rossif Sutherland who was excellent. you've probably seen him on tv or other films. he is very, very good...and yes, he happens to be the son of Donald Sutherland. hoped this would be a finer boxing film than it was, but that was my hope and no one's problem, but mine. enjoy

All I can say it's that it's different from Rocky and Cinderella man. I enjoyed the movie even if it's tough, not my style and the end is unpredictable.

The best movie ever !!!! Stick with it. I had uncomfortable feelings about the gay prison sex scene and wanted to switch it off (?) But I hadn't scene Glover .Any way ...it's a real gem . Watch this .Real low budget art ... That shines up nicely

I really liked this movie. It showed how the human spirit could overcome hatred and revenge to forgive. I wasn't surprised that Donny had gone to prison for Keith. Keith seemed like the hothead full of hatred more so than Donny. He got what he deserved in the end.It was great how Donny and Ossie protected Charlie in the end. George was a wonderful father and saw how revenge was hurting his son. Loved it and Rossif Sutherland.

this is a lighter side to the hate, but this time, it's overcome.

This movie slipped under the radar when it was first released but because I make it a point to seek out lesser known films I stumbeled across this one. And I am greatful. This is an exceptional film one I've never forgotten. It's powerful and vicious but it's also painfully beautiful.

WHAT A STUPID MOVIE. THIS HAD NO REDEEMING VALUE. THE STORY AND THE CHARACTERS ARE RIDICULOUS ESPECIALLY THE STUPIDEST OF ALL DONNY ROSE. WAITED FOR SOMETHING GOOD BUT IT NEVER HAPPENED.WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

I was an extra in the movie and all I can say is that it was awesome to be apart of this amazing story.
