Best work boots!
I wear these boots every day to work. Fully waterproof and comfortable antiseptic fatigue inserts. I always have a pair on backup in case something happens. Beat to heck and back but keep performing.

Comfortable after some lacing adjustments.
After experiencing metatarsal issues working on concrete for 12 hours a day, up to 6 and even 7 days a week, I really wanted to find a remedy. While I can’t say these boots solved the problem, I’m not sure any boot could have at that point. I still wear them for long hours but I’m not on my feet nearly as much as I was, so that issue is solved, for now. What I can say about these boots is that the removable insole is much better than any other boots I’ve worn or tried on in the last while. They’re thicker than most. The boot itself is pretty comfortable though a bit heavy. I didn’t have to really break them in, but they aren’t overly flexible. I think this helps them in terms of durability though. The (4) lacing notches are useful for lacing the boots up in different forms. This was critical for me because if I laced them straight up, utilizing all the notches, I found the metal pieces under two of the notches to cause painful pressure against my ankles. There are videos on YouTube on how to lace boots, especially hiking boots, if anyone needs tips on how lacing can affect wear and comfort. They’re often helpful for work boots, too.

Fit well, lightweight, durable.
Pretty comfortable. Bought new insoles after six months. Beat them into submission after 2 years when the alloy started to show and starts pressing into my foot. They are still intact. Will get a new pair.

Best boots ever
Best boots period. Very comfortable even for me as I'm very flat footed. Only downside is they're heavier than some others. But comfort makes up for that.

Great Boots
Due to my line of work, I am in the outddors in every kind of weather imaginable. I am also EXTREMELY hard on my footwear. I have had another brand of boots for the last several years - replacing them approximately once a year. They were pretty decent but the traction on ice and/or snow left a bit to be desired (pretty much their only downfall). This year I decided to mix things up a bit and hesitantly give these Timberlands a try. I say hesitantly because I have looked at and tried Timberlands in the past and to me it looked like the overall quality of Timberland boots had gone seriously downhill. However, I am happy to say there was absolutely no reason for my hesitation! When I put these boots on, not only did they fit like a glove, they felt amazing! The anti -fatigue technology they have incorporated into them is truly outstanding! Wearing them without breaking them in the first day I had them (in a raging snow storm no less) for over 12 hours, I can honestly say my feet were the only part of my body that was not tired. They kept my feet warm, dry, and again, absolutely tireless! And by the way, the grip in the snow and ice was superior too. I have never written a review before but I feel so strongly about these boots, I felt that I needed to share just how good they really are. If your looking for a well built, good looking, solid pair of everday boots, these boots are your answer!

Very disappointed
I bought these only after spending several hours reading reviews of work boots, and then several more hours gong to various boot stores to try on different boots. I eventually narrowed my choices down to the timberland pro hyperion and the keen pittsburgh. Part of my final decision was due to a great cyber monday sale on amazon that made these boots more affordable, but the majority of my decision was based on the fit of these boots in the store, the comfort warranty, the description of the materials and supposed care that goes into making them, and the good reviews they had received on various websites and blogs. The first pair of these boots i bought in my size on november 30. I was mildly disappointed to discover the toe box was a bit cramped. Since i would be on my feet a good 12 hours each day in these boots, it was necessary i exchange them for a half size larger. Therein lies the first disappointment - i was told i could not exchange them. I would have to return, then repurchase them. Goodbye awesome cyber monday deal! Bummer, but not too awful as i was at least still able to use the cyber week discount. Just the same, i ended up paying more than originally. I received the new pair on december 8 and, although the footbed felt a little off (due, i suspect, to the fact that i was then wearing a size slightly too large for me in order to alleviate the toe cramping), they were comfortable enough and well-suited to my work environment. Two weeks had not gone by before the rubber toe rand began peeling away from both boots (see pics). That was the second disappointment. My work is indoors. The most i have worn these boots outdoors is walking to and from my car, or into a store. They are not subject to extreme conditions by any means. Given the amount of money i paid for these boots, and in particular their price before discounts, for them to begin falling apart already, a product so highly rated and touted by the manufacturer as top of the line, makes me extremely pessimistic regarding the reliability of any replacement. Perhaps this was a pair that slipped through quality control somehow. I hope so, and that it isn't simply a case of poor quality in general. I wrote the manufacturer and was told that i should first contact the reseller. This concerns me, because i don't want to have to repurchase them at the now much higher price. I was told by one boot store i visited that the hyperion was timberland's answer to the keen brand of comfortable work boots. If i am unable to exchange these, or at least repurchase them for the original price, i will take my money to keen.

Au top ! Je suis fan de ses chaussures. Elles sont confortable et super résistante. J'ai eu un peu peur de la taille au début (trop petit) mais elles se sont faite a mi pied et je les met tous les jours pour le travail et je suis pleinement satisfait.

I'm a heavy truck/machinery mechanic on a farm. Nothing is more destructive to footwear than oil, grease AND farmyard "stuff". I generally wear out a pair of boots every year. This is the second pair I've purchased - first pair has lasted me 2 1/2 years and they're still going. No tears, no water leaks, and still the most comfortable work boot I've ever owned. These just happened to be on sale, so I couldn't pass them up. $138 is a great price for a pair of these beauties. I highly recommend to all workers.
