Vitamix C and G Series Vitamix Tamper Holder

This holder looks good on my 780, fits perfectly and matches the shine of the blender, does not look like an add on accessory. This is a very pricey option for a very pricey blender and truthfully an item that I could live without but I do like having the tamper close at hand. The holder securely holds the all of my different length tampers from the short 32/48 oz to the more tapered short 64 oz tamper. Update: after using the tamper holder for a while I found that this is a really convenient addition to the vitamix 780, during the auto smoothie program it’s nice to have the tamper close at hand if you need to help get frozen items into the blades and only have a few seconds to get the task done before the program stops. Simple to grab the tamper because the tamper is exactly where you expect it to be.

Wow, what a simple product to make life better. I have always placed the Tamper in a drawer, where convenient, it take up space. And, if I simply place it in the mixer, the top doesn't fit back on. So, this fits on the mixer and holds my tamper. It removes easily for cleaning and the black ring that circles the mixer actually makes the mixer look better. So, I give this a full five stars. They should sell it with the mixer. A simple product that make my life easier. Just what i want

This is a great Vitamix tamper holder if you have a series C or series G blender. Sadly, this does not fit my Explorian 310 (VM0197) blender. It is approximately the right size but it not fit tightly enough to stay attached. I am disappointed to have to return it because it seems like a very useful product.

Works exactly as advertised, fits the blender really well. Feels like a cheap material however and doesn't seem to be really all that sturdy, for the price I expected a bit better higher grade material (vinyl coated metal would have been nice). If it were about 50% more affordable I would have rated it another star as this would be a good value. It works great, keeps the tamper where you need it, and keeps it from taking up space in the drawer so really love the function... just a little too expensive compared to build quality / materials.

Once you are in that Vitamix fever you keep buying stuff wondering if you would really ever need or even use it. This was on of them, and oh yes, I certainly needed it. The tamper is either lieing around somewhere and not nearby when you need it or you don't use it because it is just not at hand at the moment. I also looked at a different kind, but this one is perfect. It will fit any machine, because it comes with two individual frames that will fit any model. Now my tamper is always there when I need it. A little pricey, but hey, if you are a Vitamix person you are used to higher prices. Shipping speed for Vitamix items through Amazon always amazes me, came the next day although originally I was told within 5 days. Always worth checking for genuine Vitamix items on Amazon, as Vitamix has an Amazon store. I got several items already for a much lower price than on their own website.

Though this is probably overpriced, it's also very well designed and made. I've owned VM's since the mid 80's when they were all metal, and these newer designed ones since the 90's. Why no one thought of this accessory until recently, who knows? I was always looking for something to set my tamper on while working and also to store it. I'd generally end up leaving the tamper in and storing the cup separately. I have no doubt that there could be a version that cost half of this and be without the adjustable hinge or the little pad to keep from scarring up the base. I'd rather pay more and have this one. It works perfectly.

I have not installed this Bad-Lad yet and actually do not know how well it fits or works as it is a 11-17-2021 Birthday present - But - I like it and looks to be a Great item to have so you can have the Tamper in easy reach. So I give it 5 stars and will update one the wife tells me is it a good thing or a piece of ^*%# (junk). Still I like it's looks : )

Not as described. Item product page clearly states "Compatible with all C-series and G-Series Blenders" yet only the part for the C-series was included. If you go to Vitamix.com and look at the same part at the same price it comes with both parts. I guess I should have read more reviews here to notice others with the exact same problem still not resolved by Amazon... Either fix the item description or find out why your product for the exact same price is missing half the parts vs. the manufacture. If you have an older model or C-series go ahead and order, but if you have the G-Series I would skip it because it seems only a few people are getting both parts and others like myself aren't so you have no idea what you will actually get.

This product comes with two "frames"; let's call them "Large" and "Small". No tools are required to install this. 1. Determine the correct size frame for your model. The box indicates the frames fit C-Series or G-Series models. I wasn't sure which one I had, but the larger one fits on the 750. 2. Remove the canister, place the frame on/around the rubber motor base. 3. Snap the actual holder to the frame, and you're all set. This product adds a nice shiny accent to the overall look of the blender. No more fumbling to find the tamper when you actually need it. Pro tip, unless you don't mind an additional item to wash, keep an empty glass nearby while using the tamper so you have somewhere to put it when covered in smoothie. This will help keep the tamper holder clean. This product is made with a sturdy slightly flexible glossy plastic. The little detail of the Vitamix logo is a nice touch which makes me think this was not some "afterthought" accessory, and is well deserving of it's $20 CDN price tag. I bought this with the intention of keeping "all things Vitamix" in one spot, so mission accomplished! 10/10 accessory.

This product fits onto your Vitamix machine and keeps your tamper close. This keeps your tamper from rolling around on your counter or in a drawer. There were 2 sizes of holder that came in the box, one for "C" machines and one for "G" styles. Make sure you order the right holder for your machine, with that being said it's a great item to have.
