I actually bought these 2 years ago. Gave them 5 stars but didn’t write a review. So I wanted to fix that and give these the credit they deserve. I love these needles! They’re nice a smooth and have good sharpish points, so I don’t have to fight them to get into tight spots. I’ve never had the joints catch on my yarn. I only had one time they unscrewed themselves and came apart - very early on, and once I got the hang of tightening them better, I haven’t ever had that problem again. Great price for an excellent set of needles.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE! First of all they're my favorite color,red, and they come with everything I need for circular needles. One complaint I see about interchangeable circular needles are the needles unscrew from the cable. I just wrap masking tape around the connection and they never unscrew. These are very durable, flexible, and they make knitting a breeze.

So, I was sick of buying individual circular needles every time I had a new project, but I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a set. These needles are a great value for what you get. Please remember you MUST use the key in order to tighten the needles on the cord or they WILL loosen. That is not fun in the middle of knitting. There are several needle sizes, cord sizes and little goodies included. The case is nice because it keeps everything in one place. The yarn cutter is life. The very biggest drawback that I have found (and it is a doozy for me) is that the yarn catches on the join. It isn't the end of the world, but depending on the yarn you're using, it could be a big problem. One of the yarns I'm using now poses no problem. There is a kind of big problem on the other yarn I'm using. I vacillate between giving a 3 or a 4 star rating because so far, that's the only issue I personally have found. Are these the very best needles I've ever used? No. Are they perfectly acceptable? Yes. If you are looking to jump into the pool of interchangeable needles, I would say that these are not a bad start.

I'm an avid knitter of nearly 2 decades and I must say this is a great set. The needles do have a tendency to unscrew every so often and catch the yarn, but other than that I've used them for several projects and you couldn't ask for a better set at this amazing price.

I purchased this set in the beginning of the year with the intention of learning how to knit, and I’m barely trying them out almost a year later. I went in to use my 6.0mm pair of needles, and the threads were loose on one of the needles, making the 6.0mm pair practically unusable because the needle becomes unattached from the cable at the slightest tug. I’ve confirmed that it’s the needle that is loose and not the cable(s) because my other needles attach just fine and stay secure as long as I use the key to tighten the connection. This is very unfortunate because I can’t ask for a replacement this far out from the purchase date. The 6.0mm is the only needle I’ve had issues with as I’ve tried out all other needles and they connect and secure to the cables just fine. I’ve used two other pairs of needles from this set for maybe 12+ hours, and the other issue I’ve had is that the red coating on the needles is beginning to become stripped at the tips as I’ve begun to wear them out. This won’t be an issue as long as this doesn’t affect how smooth the needles are during use, but I won’t know until I wear the needles out more. As for the additional accessories, they are very useful. No issues with those. I would give this review a 2.5 stars if I could, but 2 is too low as the majority of the needles work and the accessories are great.

This set has sharp crisp points. Ideal for stich pick up! I couldn't disagree more that the joints on them catch on yarn. Mine do no such thing. They stay tight if properly tightened. The point protectors work even if all you want to do is change cables mid stride. I am no beginner, I have had many needles since I was 7 years old. These actually work. Knit Denise needles are made in America, and I tried them. For me China is much better. They don't break in 10 stitches! The work is smooth and butiful. I am hard of vision so the red paint makes seeing much easier.

The needle snapped off inside the metal part of the cord. Now the cord and the needle are both useless. Prior to this, the cord would unthread and separate from the needle making me have to stop and go back and pick up the stitches. Very cheaply made. Some of the needles wouldn't even screw on to the cord because the threads are such poor quality. I waited to write this review until after contacting customer service first to see how they would handle the situation. Since I waited a few months between ordering the set and starting my project, I was outside of the return period. I wasn't looking for the seller to replace the whole set, just the cord and needle that broke during use of my first project with the needles. The seller doesn't stand behind the product even though based on other reviews this is a known problem. I will say that the customer service rep was responsive and answered my inquiry in a timely manner, just not to my satisfaction.

I know some people can be extra picky but these have really worked well with many different yarn brands and yarn types. Of looking for a reasonable price circular knit kit this is a good choice to get started it’s perfect for beginners as well.
