Eastwood Hotcoat Powder Coat Silver Vein 1 Lb Durable Chemical Impact Resistant Smooth Finish

I used this to cover aluminum. It made old parts look new. It is easy enough to use. It will blotch if you don’t know what you are doing. Is shiny but it is not chrome, Good uniform coverage. If you sand it after it is applied it changes the color.

I wasn't expecting this to be a replacement for chrome so I wasn't disappointed. It looks a lot like polished aluminum if you do it correctly. I'm very happy with this coating.

I am repainting a rail buggy that I own. I replaced the 1600cc VW engine with a Porsche 1700cc pancake engine. The problem is they don't make chrome accessories for my new engine. I purchased this powder coat hoping it would match a chrome finish so I can powder coat my engine parts.To be completely honest, this is the closest way to a chrome finish I have found so far. I have tried a variety of expensive standard paints with sad results but this powder coat shines and mirrors chrome better than any product I have used. Mind you, it is not an exact bright mirror finish but it is very very close. I am a first-time powder coat painter and my valve covers turned out amazingly nice. Follow the instructions completely and you will be as impressed as I was. I would have given it a five-star rating had the price been a bit easier on the wallet.
