Now this is QUALITY! Made in the USA and backed by a Lifetime Warranty for Home Use. The unit is built strong, sturdy and it is made with craftsmanship you will not find in other cheap models like the Funtime 4oz popper. Stainless steel and aluminum construction. Three side panels are tempered glass. The door is Plexiglas. The pull out Collection Tray, and Lower Inside Panel are made of stainless steel. The side braces are made of tempered aluminum. Chassis is built tough and it is one good looking machine. I've used it probably a dozen times so far. I do not care what type of popcorn and oil I use, it pops perfectly each and every time. You can cook a 1/2 cup of popcorn in a few minutes. I cook a lot of Mushroom popcorn for different recipes like Cheddar Cheese Popcorn, Chocolate Covered and others. This machine handles both Regular popcorn and Mushroom popcorn with no problem. I've used Coconut Oil (plain and buttered). Also, have added Popcorn Flavacol Salt to the cooking and there has been no issues with using my own mixtures. Easy clean up. Just wipe out the Kettle with a paper towel. Easy to take care of. This machine makes popping popcorn enjoyable. If you are looking to spend a few more dollars for quality in a Popcorn Machine, this one will not disappoint you. As far as price goes, I am glad I spent the extra money because it was worth every penny.

Okay, I want to start off with a con - The plate with the handle that drops down to the kettle and keeps all the corn from flying out is supposed to lift up as the corn starts to pop, and then the popcorn spills over the side. But on mine, the right side lifts up first, then it causes the stirring shaft to bind up inside that plate. Once it does, it shoves the left side of the plate in between the kettle and the arm on the left side that has the hinge for the kettle. The first time it did it, it bound up so hard it actually stopped the stirring shaft!! Since then, I've been careful to reach in there quick and lift it up, but it isn't fun with hot oil popping all over the place. I am going to take off that plate and drill it out a little bigger.Now that's over with, the popcorn machine is great!! Wow, what a simple machine. And so sturdy. Has the cord for the kettle covered in commercial grade flexible conduit, and the plug in is like what you would buy to replace the end of an extension cord, but also covered in steel. It's got three switches. One each for power, kettle, and light. As soon as you turn on the kettle, the stirring shaft starts to spin.It looks really easy to clean too. Has it's own drawer to catch un-popped kernels. And if any crumbs get into the bottom of the machine, it's really easy to take apart. Don't even need tools.Three sides are glass, and the front is plexiglass with a stainless steel section under the door that folds out to you at a 45* angle.I'm very happy so far.

the reviews we read said it was great for light concession stands. We are using it for high school boys soccer, once or twice a week. It is not sturdy enough. . The door is really flimsy, falls off if you're not extremely careful and the popper smokes. We make about 5 pots then turn it off. I will say the popcorn is great! The machine would be good for a home theater or home parties. Not a bad machine, just don't feel it is strong enough for concession stand.

Although this is great for family or small group settings, I did use this for a larger group where I had the kettle running for about an hour and a half, it worked great! I have owned 2 popcorn machines that look like this with this one being far superior. The instructions claim that you can put 6oz of seeds in the 4oz kettle.... don't, you will get more old maids than the amount of extra popped. I found that if you use 1/2c of seeds, 1/4c of popping oil, and 1tsp of popcorn salt it seems to come out great. Remember you are looking at a home use machine that works as good as almost any industrial popper. It is build great with quality parts and should last, definitely worth the money. Cleaning is simple and takes just a couple minutes. The bottom tray easily tilts and slides out giving you access to the underside of the bottom tray as well as the heating element. After that all you need to clean your machine is windex sprayed on the glass sides and a couple of paper towels to wipe dry. To clean the kettle, wipe it out with a dry paper towel.The only issue I had was with the Plexiglas door: Upon unpacking I found that it was severely scratched. I called customer service with no questions asked they sent me another one only taking 2 days to arrive and looks great.I would definitely recommend the Cineplex-4 to anyone who is looking for a quality home use machine that can be used for larger groups on occasion.

I had to return the first popcorn machine because the glass was broken upon arrival ... no harm, no foul ... I called the manufacturer and waited a week with no results. I returned the item via Amazon and received the replacement within one week. New machine arrives and the plexiglass door is not cut properly and the magnetic latch will not work because the door hangs below the magnet. I have called. I have left voicemail. I am ready to return this product. The manufacturer apparently does not want my business.

bought this for the office. Haven't had any issues, works really well. The only issue i see relates to cleaning. The bottom plate requires tilting to get it out, and if you have not cleaned off all the popcorn and kernels, they will fall into the base which is harder to clean. In other words, it would be nice if you could somehow simply pull out the bottom plate and dump the remains into the basket. But, it cooks perfectly and fast. It is extremely well made.E
