Q: How do you adjust the laser as mine arrived today and when following the laser its verring way off to the right and no where near my line?

There is a little flap at the front of the jigsaw, prise it open and inside there is a lever you move either left or right to adjust the laser

Don't see why not I've used diamond edged jigsaw blades for cutting tiles

Q: Does this saw take bayonet blades from other manufacturers? like bosch pro 10tlg or saxton jigsaw blades. basically universal jigsaw blades? thanks :)

I ordered saxton blades with this saw. I don’t know about the other brands.

I think it is a great jig saw, I use mine to do any D I Y jobs I have around the house and it as served me well. my answer would be yes, but that is but it is up to you if you want to use it on laminate.
