Bought this to replace a hideous 3-bulb directional light fitting. So glad I did - it looks so neat and bright, with no shadows. Our kitchen isn't big (about 3m square), so this is just about bright enough. If our kitchen had been any bigger a more powerful light would've been more appropriate. The item arrived securely packaged. It's very lightweight and was very easy to install.

Fitted 2 of these in my bathroom, took ne less than 10mins per light, they are light weight but I wouldn't say cheap like other reviews. I had no problem with shadowing, and can only assume if you have shadowing you've fitted them wrong yourself. Would recommend!!

The unit is not safe for many areas of the bathroom (near water) and does not seem to be CE certified.... however I was using it in a nearby room. Installation is via 3 screws, then feeding the cables in through a small hole with rubber gasket, which are too small to allow live and neutral from a typical UK lighting circuit to be fed in. certainly not the earth cable too, as is found in more recent houses (although it is metal, there is not earth point anyway). After wiring it in and attaching the plastic shade, i turned it on. 10 seconds later it started switching on and off. Thinking it was a loose connection on the push-fit connections, I tested them and put the diffuser back on. back to the flashing, and then gave a lovely 'smoke effect' as a component in the LED driver gave up. This may be cheap, but if the LED driver is badly built then it may be overdriving the LEDs and need replacement very often. Also, consider something like the LE-PRO product I bought to replace this which includes water protection for use in a damp environment like a bathroom.

Ok when it's in used and easy to clean. Looks flimsy when taken out if box but it's been working well. Bright light in bathroom

Great light. Easy to install. It is very bright though! But I like a brighter light, so very happy with it.

The product is very lightweight, to the point a slight dent in the metal body could be pressed out with a finger. However the design is well thought out for both easy fitting and effective light in a bathroom. It replaces, in my case, a globe light and because it is so shallow, it allows greater headroom.

Quite inexpensive. But; It's very lightly constructed. The diffuser is thin plastic rather than glass. Neither of these points particularly bothered me as it looks fine on the ceiling. It could almost be stuck to the ceiling using sticky pads it's so light weight! Not that I did :-) The inlet for the cable is a little on the small side and the electrical connections are the push in type (which I dislike) rather than a conventional screw connector block. It's bright. The real negative for me though is the harsh cold light it produces. Quite unpleasant in a bathroom. It replaced an old fitting into which I'd put an 100W ES LED lightbulb and the light from that was much nicer. The quality of the light is the main reason for only three stars. I don't understand why these Chinese products have such a hard time replicating warm daylight.
