I bought this repair tape to fix a dual line stunt kite. I have been flying professionally for 5 years. I used this clear tape repair product as a cheaper alternative to the prism repair tape and other kite repair patches after I noticed a 3" year on the spine of my prism E3 and a 2.5" year along the main sail of my skyburner Ocius. Ease of use: 5/5 - clean the material, cut the patch out, and apply the patch. Durability: 5/5 - I applied these patches a few months ago and have been flying my kites in 5-25 mph winds. The patches are in very heavily abuses sections of the kites. This patch has been unnoticeable in terms of kite performance and cosmetics. Additionally, there are ZERO signs of wear around the patch. The instructions note to allow a short period of time for the patch to affix to he material securely (like glue drying) and that after his one hour period, the patch will actually strengthen its bond to the material with time. This means increased strength of repair over time and with use. Cosmetics: 5/5 - what repair? From a distance of one foot you can't even tell I repaired the kite sails. From closer, while a highly detailed oriented person might see the patches, the patch is clear and designed to be unnoticeable in day to day use. Waterproof: ?5/5 - I do not submerge my kites in water, however, I do out them up in 25mph winds. There is zero air leak or I would noticed the performance drop of the kites. Thus, I extrapolate that this seal is waterproof and would work for those patching rain jackets. Given the abuse the kites take and the force of wind they see, and the fact that this has fixed my previously poorly performing kites because before they were shedding wind heavily, thus product is a kitesaver! And if used on a jacket, I expect it to save your torn jacket. Overall - this patch performed above and beyond my expectations. At this low price, I've bought multiple kits to be prepared for my next kite sail tear and to be able to quickly patch it up and get back in the sky.

Tenacious tape is a critical part of my backpacking gear list. The tape is an absolute must have on any long distance hike. I recently completed the John Muir Trail. On the third day of the hike, my tent sack had a four inch rip near the top while stuffing in my tent. I remembered that I had the tape in my pack and gave the tape a try. The tape worked perfectly for the rest of the trip. The tape is strong and durable. I highly recommend tenacious tape for your backpacking gear list and the tape can make solid repairs on gear at home. You won't need to pack the entire roll on a hike, just a small section. The tape cuts easily and you can even be creative on what type of tape design you want on your damaged gear. On a rain jacket you can cut a circle or even make a shape like a rain drop with the tape. The tape comes in different colors if that is important to you. The tape is not easy to remove once applied so think before you tape your gear.

I bought it to you to repair tent and clothes when I'm backpacking and it works but it's not as sticky as other reviews made me think. Especially if you using small pieces to cover tiny holes in your clothes it feels quite easily. I use bigger pieces, maybe about an inch by inch to fix my tent fly and there it holds reasonably well. But I still feel that regular duct tape holds much better and it's significantly cheaper. I used a small piece to fix my inflatable sleeping pad and it's been a year and it's still holds. So at least for this, it worked pretty well

Used strip 1 1/4" x 10" to repair rip in back packing tent screen door along seam. Thought of stitching along rip also but used a second strip on other side of tent door instead. Probably didn't even need second strip but peace of mind knowing its a very durable repair. I even used a small piece for a seam rip under the entry way rug. Its holding well. Its a good idea to round cut the corners of the tape as suggested. Very good product.

Easy to use and reliable

I am surprised with how well its holding up on the jackets i used it on. It even held up when washing them in the washing machine multiple times. But mileage may very, on how you apply it,etc..

Rasgué un plumón de alta montaña, le hice una raja de tamaño considerable, y después de preguntar en varias tiendas especializadas (barrabés etc).. me recomendaron este producto. Había visto cosas similares para tiendas de campaña, pero no este. ... Y menos mal que lo compré; pude arreglar el destrozo con el rollo trasparente, con solo un trozo de Tenacious recortado a la medida.. dos lavados ya y ahi sigue! Además lo he utilizado para reparar chaquetas de membrana de ciclismo y montaña, y en todas sigue bien pegado y sujeto. Una recomendación: pegar sobre la superficie de la prenda lo más limpia posible y sin ningún tipo de arrugas, y una vez pegado, dejar ahí al menos un día para que se fije bien. Plazos de entrega correctos y producto tal y como se indica. Muy contento y el rollo es de buen tamaño.

Impeccable ! Aucun décollement, même après plusieurs passages en machine. Attention à ce que le tissu adhéré n'ait pas de pli au moment de la pose
