Fantastic for the money, Keeps up with i5 powered laptop.
I am genuinely surprised by how good this chip is. I recently built a PC dedicated to Web Developing as a replacement to an Asus Q501 laptop with a 4th Gen i5. This chip, for what I am using it for (and this is an important caveat), is at least as good / fast as the i5 in the laptop. I easily run Aptana, Chrome with 5-10 tabs, Firefox with 5-10 tabs and Chromium (The base for Chrome) with 2-5 tabs including one playing music via Google Music, plus file managers, text editors, FTP program all at once with barely any stalls or slow downs.Original set up was 8GB RAM with an OLD 80GB SATA drive. Swap the HDD for a SATA and it runs even better. If you're looking to replace an i5 powered laptop and all you do is browse the internet, documents, stream movies etc then this is a great chip for the money. This will eventually power my upcoming HTPC where again I have high hopes for it with little doubt of disappointment. However, I only paid $65 for this in a sale; if it was at its full cost of nearly $90 I would have just stumped up the little bit extra and got a 4th gen i3.

Works Great. Super easy to install.
Works great. Very fast. Just using the on-chip Intel HD graphics (no separate graphics card). Played a Blu-ray movie and it looked great (which means the whole system was working well), but the CPU sure kept up. Maybe that's not stressing it much but it certainly wasn't worth paying the extra for a dual core i3 versus this dual core Pentium.Intel Pentium G3450 Processor - BX80646G3450

So far so good and it's running great
My husband built a custom gaming desktop for me and we purchased this as part of the build. So far so good and it's running great :)I do test these products out myself and give a very honest review. I am one that reads the reviews carefully when making purchases so I appreciate those who take the time to post reviews! If my review has been helpful to you, please give me a "Yes" vote on my review!

G3450 proc
Great proc for a semi-low-end build. Not a lot of money this build. so I cut corners with the MB and the proc to save about $100.00. So far, I am pleased with it. I do find that when I have Outlook, the browser with 6 or 7 tabs, a game and maybe music playing, the proc is a bit stressed due to not having hyperthreading. No big deal.

Great processor for the money
Bought this processor specifically for a Team Fortress 2 computer build paired with a Zotac Nvidia GTX760, 8gigs Gskill RAM, cheap Asus muthaboard, 700 watt power supply and cheap 120GIG HD. High detail everything and native resolution-Team Fortress is steady over 100fps and during heavy combat with all players in view and smoke and particles and gibs flying in a large map-doesn't drop below 60fps. This processor meets all my needs for a gaming computer. Great processor for the money, makes me wonder how the Haswell Celerons would perform.

Intel Pentium G3450 Processor
I have been very happy with this CPU. I wanted to get the most value for the dollar and it fills the bill. I thought I could always upgrade to a faster CPU later if I needed to. It does what I needed it for so I am happy about that.
