The vent mount is amazing! My mom bought me this product YEARS ago front Costco and I've been using it in my car and bringing it with me when I travel to drive rentals or other people's cars. I LOVE IT! I have yet to find a vehicle it isn't compatible with (so far it has worked in 2006 RAV4, 2017 Volkswagen Passat, 2023 CRV, 2024 Equinox, 2019 Jeep Wrangler, etc). Recently, I rented a vehicle on vacation and left my beloved phone mount behind. I was SO sad! It took a lot of searching on the internet to find an exact replacement, but I eventually found it and I'm so glad I did! The mount came with 2 different magnets to go on the back of my phone and they feel stronger than the magnet I currently have. I'm so happy to have a working phone mount! It's the only one I like in my vehicle. The long arm allows me to position my phone away from the vent so it doesn't overheat in the winter. Other mounts I've tried (suction) fall off, but this stays so secure on the vent. It seems like they updated the vent mount so that it's more secure than the older model. Please keep making this product! I bought 2 just in case I leave one in the rental car again. I love this product so much!

I was given one of these cell phone holders and used it for about a year. I like the holder so much I bought two more for my other vehicles and can say that in all the time it has never fallen off the windshield nor dropped my phone. I like it so much, I also added one to my tool cabinet so I can keep my phone in view while working in my garage. Positives: 1. It holds this phone securely. 2. It sticks to the windshield and does NOT fall off, even in high heat or frigid cold. 3. It is easily removable. 4. Easy to install. 5. Works with just about any cell phone or phone case. 6. Easily adjusts for easy viewing. Bottom Line: This is a great holder.

They do the job fine and they are low profile meaning they don’t stick out to much. They look good great magnets really sturdy I have an iPhone 13 Pro but I’m sure using a max would be just fine too. Many people tend to put the metal sheet under the case that doesn’t really help it should be outside for max magnetic grip. Besides that my only complain is it’s made of plastic it feels so weird I stuck it around my radio and it moves as if the adhesive is a sponge. It hasn’t fallen but I feel it might over time a slimmer adhesive or a metal base with a indentation for the adhesive would of been better overall it’s a solid choice specially for the price can’t go wrong. I’ve had this brand before and they last will see how this one goes.

With the number of distractions that tug at us while we're behind the wheel, one less distraction would be welcome. I think that this mount, wholly unique versus the hundreds of other mounts floating out there in the Amazon-sphere, is conceptually the best. Here's why... When I bought my "previously-owned" 2014 BMW 335i, it did not come with a NAV system. But that's ok given how robust apps like WAZE and GoogleMaps are. Both pack in a lot of color and details and icons when it’s running. However, trying to take a few moments to focus on a 5.5” smartphone screen, to process all of those colors/details/icons, and then to turn your attention back onto the road could possibly take one moment too long. So the key is to obviously keep your eyes from gazing away from the road for too long. And nowadays, manufacturers know that it’s important to maintain your line of sight with the traffic ahead which explains the increasing popularity of factory-installed-at-the-assembly-line HUD systems. Thus, the best option, really, is to get a dashboard mount. The other categories either force you to look below the dashboard horizon (CD Slot Mount; Cup Holder Mount; mounts that plug into your 12v outlet; Rennline Phone Mount) or will obscure your field of vision (window mounts). But, the dashboard of the 335i BMW (F30 chassis) is irregular and there is no viable real estate on which to affix a dashboard mount. This particular vent mount accomplishes two things. First, the neck is 2"+ in length, so the phone can be placed at a position that won't block the vent's airflow or the front console buttons. Second, it gets my eyes looking right at about the dashboard horizon, which is the preferred view. Currently, I own a Moto Z2 Play (5.11 oz). I had also purchased a rugged Otterbox case for it known as the (OMG, this is a long name): UZER Shockproof Hybrid Slim Dual Layer Rugged Rubber Hybrid Hard/Soft Impact Armor Defender (1.6 oz; .30” thickness). I will say that the case was TOO THICK for the magnet to hold this securely. I decided to remove the black plasticky part that looked like the tire tread (thereby sacrificing the kickstand). And, this helped. The case is now just 1/16” thick. And the magnet connection is strong. I’ve tried driving through my neighborhood’s in-need-of-repair roads and over some speed bumps at nearby shopping mall parking lots. The phone remains firmly attached to the magnet mount. I also really like how you can “angle” this mount any which way. The neck rotates 360 degrees around the clip that you secure to your vent. Thanks to a ball joint there, that neck can also be adjusted maybe 30 degrees along the axis. There is a similar ball joint where the neck meets the magnet mount. So, there is a lot of flexibility regarding how you can “customize” how to position your smartphone. I give this 4 stars and not 5 for these two reasons. First, I wished that the magnetic mount was rectangular instead of square. The added surface area of a larger magnet would probably make the connection even more sturdy. Also, the mount is prone to wobbling. That’s not because the connection points are loose. In fact, you will need to apply a little elbow grease to adjust the mount. Your car’s vent slat is plastic. The neck of the mount is plastic. So, there is going to be “give” when you go over bumps, if for example, the neck is set in the 12 o’clock position. What I decided to do was to attach the mount to my upper-right section of the vent near my door. By adjusting the neck into the just-before-12 o’clock position and attaching my phone to the magnet, the left side of my phone lies against my A-Pillar thereby creating a pseudo-snug and non-wobbly fit. Well, it works well for me. And, even though I think most mounts are “a-dime-a-dozen”, I do most certainly like this one.

These are Nice!!! 👍👍👍 They Work well, if I have to move it and it gets Hair or Debris on Sticky Pad area... Simply Rinse, Rub in Warm Water and let Air Dry..... Sticky comes Right Back Just as Strong as the 1st time. 👍

This thing was so incredibly difficult to remove from the glass desk top! I didn't know the base has a refreshable tacky base on the suction cup portion. If I were to use a suction cup phone mount on my windshield, this would be it! If you get it dirty, just wipe it off with a wet nap. Once it dries, it's tacky again. There tacky base itself holds the mount enough you almost don't need the suction cup. I was tired of my phone stand moving around when I'm working at the desk trying to use the touch screen, this was the problem solver. The magnets are seriously strong, and the rubbery pad is a nice touch to prevent damage. If I could give 4-1/2 stars; it's only because you can't adjust the strength of the swivel mount. If it loosens over time... It renders the pivot useless. Otherwise, I really like this little mount! I would get a second for my vehicle.

Mixed feelings on this. Overall, it’s a great phone mount. But I have several of these on all my vehicles and they all eventually do the same thing. The rubber part your phone sits against tends to come undone on the back side where it seats and if you don’t notice it your phone will fall off. It’s a simple fix but it definitely happens on a somewhat regular basis and it’s just a design flaw. Outside of that, I do like it quite a bit.
