Colourful and fun book for kids who enjoy going through the book and choosing which story they want to do next. Fun various styles of quizzes which tests their comprehension of the fun stories. Love this book

One page per day lessons includes a story/article followed by an activity. The activity is different each day so your child won't get bored. The stories are EXTREMELY varied with some being fictional, others being about realistic life. You'll even find some science in here along with geography and other fascinating subjects. I absolutely LOVE the broad spectrum of topics and stories included. Presentation is excellent, appeal is superb and the layout/clarity of text is well done. This is the second one in this series that I have reviewed and been impressed by. This one is going to our younger grandchildren. Can't wait for the next grades to come out so that I can use them for our own kids. There is an answer key in the back along with a Skills Index and Common Core Correlations. The skill being taught/practiced is also listed at the bottom of each page. IMPORTANT TO NOTE that this is written by an American thus you are going to find some different spellings etc. I was provided a copy of this journal by the publisher. Neat simple and easy to follow for kids of grade 2. My daughter love doing this . Must buy for extra language efficiency.
