Just the thing
I wanted a way to carry cloths or other items but didn't want the bagger look so I chose this sissy bar backpack. It only takes a minute or two to attach, stays put and holds a lot of stuff. I used it on a trip from Phoenix, AR to Montana. It held the cloths I needed for the trip plus things I picked up along the way. It is leather, well built with lots of straps. You can face it forward or to the rear if you have a way to keep it off your rear fender. It has 4 pockets, a large center storage area and an attachable smaller leather bag that buckles on top of the main bag. The small bag works well for things you need to get at or take in with you when you stop places. I kept sun block, toiletries, snacks, water and a few other things in the small top pack on the trip. My bike is setup for street cruising so saddle bags don't fit the look. I am not sure two people could travel far with this but for one it us just fine or two on shorter weekend trips. I guess it would depend on how much stuff you take when you travel. The leather is nice, the stitching was good and it comes with a rain cover. The straps that hold it on can be used as backpack straps so you can carry it around on your back when you take it off if you like.

did the trick.. but not the best.
I can't really complain about the bag too much looking at it's cost over the others out there.. I bought this for my trip from NJ to Laconia bike week in NH. It held up, but the rain cover shredded in the wind within one day. The bags are fairly sturdy and strong though. I did have an issue with it sliding from side to side even when strapped down as much as possible. This was fixed using 2 bungie cords to keep it upright. I think if I had a grab bar on my corbin seat it would have helped a little more. The plus to this kit is the large pocket that us used to go over the backrest / sissy bar. It fits perfectly around the large ovalback backrest from corbin when many others just do not fit.As I stated before, the rain cover might as well just get tossed in the trash when you open the box.. it is just garbage quality. pack a garbage back or 2 it will do the same, and probably not rip within the first mile. If that weren't included in the package it probably would have gotten 4 stars.

Perfect Fit - Nice Leather!
Fits perfectly on my Shadow Spirit with Cobra short sissy and luggage rack! The slide over sissy mount, straps and welcro mount mounts/dismounts quickly and easliy once the snap straps are adjuated to the bike - thats the primary reason I picked this sissy bar pack. Easy on, Easy off, Fits right... (on my bike - and looks Great too)Plus the Leather quality(Very Nice Leather!), stiching and and general construction is nice and Strong.Nice Fit and Leather...Cons: No rigid liner and doesnt keep form (wrinkles and sags) when empty. However, the fix is: Put a vinyl/plactic storage container in it to keep its shape and it looks/fits great!I used a Sterilite 16 Quart storage container (16.75" x 11.88" x 7" - $4.95 from HomeDepot), and it slides right in, fits and fills out the bag's form near perfectly. I pad the very little area left with a drying towel on one side, 2 shop rags and a wash mitten on the other, and the bag fills out and holds form perfectly - Lookin Great! (I also cut an access hole in the side of the container right under zipper flap opening of the bag for easy in/out access to the lined container)Wow! A Nice Leather, well formed ridgid lined, Nice Lookin (good sized, fully functional sissy bar) for a reasonable price - I Like It!Other Thoughts:Gave it a good Lexol Leather conditoner treatment and it Looks GREAT on my Bad@ss Black and Chrome Shadow!

Good product, poor posting
The product itself is very well designed and I expect to get a lot of use out of it. My only complaint is about the specific posting for this item. It doesn't specify in the posting that the sissy bar should be a max of 12 inches wide for the bag to securely mount. The tag on the item itself plainly says this, I wish the product description on Amazon would have had this info as well since it would have been helpful for me. My sissy bar is slightly wider than that and the actual mounting of the bag on the sissy bar is less than stellar due to the straps not wanting to hold at the strange angle the wide sissy bar forces them to. Simple workaround for me, but I would have liked to have known up front.

nice but not too nice
This is a really nice bag with lots of room but, after a week one of the little side pockets zipper broke.

It is really leather. Not PU “Pleather”
Zippers are solid. Workmanship is substantial. Again, this bag(s) is really leather not a plastic “pleather” substitute. Looks great on my Harley’s sissy bar. Real Easy Rider style. Holds a LOT of stuff between the two bags. Very happy. Well worth the price in my humble opinion. Whatever the previous version’s complaints and shortcoming were I believe they have fixed it. And that’s all that I have to say about that!

Worth buying, but...
After less than two weeks on the road, one of the side zippers jammed. Not even pliers would convince it to open. Had to slit the stitching to get my stuff out.

Great looking and functional bag.
Used bag on a 4 day trip with wife and I and bag strapped on back of sissy bar, had about 40lbs in it. Works great.. The Leather is soft and thick, you can really pack some stuff in here. One thing I had to do was use some cinch straps on the top of the bag to top of the sissy bar. This helped stabilize it on the bar otherwise it would get bouncy while riding as I have seen several of my friends bags do also. Great bag, kind wish it had the side barn doors, but oh well, no biggie. Comes with enough straps to strap to just about any bike I would assume. Would not recommend putting on back of sissy bar if you don't have a luggage rack... It'll sit on fender and get into your paint. mine came with a rain fly as well.
