Kicker 6.5 Inch KM-Series LED Marine Speakers 43KM654LCW

Great 6.5” Speakers!! For the price I filled my boat with these over wetsounds and I’m extremely happy! I have the a set of the 8” as well. All of them produce decent bass and look great with the led controller. I received the brand new 200$ model for the cheap price and I couldn’t be happier

Bought 4 of these for my pontoon boat. Sound quality is great and the lights at night totally transform the feeling of the boat !!! I got the Kicker 41KMLC Marine LED Controller..a must to take full advantage of the lights. Easy install just alot of small wire connections needed as expected for the RGB lights but worth it when done!!

First, I'll start by saying the sound quality is great for the price-point. The bass is deeper than factory speakers and they are able to handle louder volumes without distortion. I was looking for speakers to replace in my 21' open bow boat that could handle higher volumes that are necessary while cruising. I am powering the speakers with standard JVC marine receiver without an additional amplifier. After installing the speakers, I immediately noticed a superior sound quality compared to my stock JVC marine speakers. Next up was the volume test. The speakers could handle much more than the stock speakers without distortion. It's all I could ask for without upgrading to a unit with more power (amplifier, subwoofer, etc). The faceplates came packaged in white and black, which I appreciated so I could choose I style that I liked. I decided to go with the white grille cover that matched the vinyl of my boat, but I was undecided until I could physically compare. Lastly, I wanted to comment on the installation. Being a moderate DIY 'er that isn't afraid to tackle a project, I was able to complete the installation but it took about twice the time I was expecting. I didn't realize the LEDs required separate wiring to a power source (oversight on my side) so I had to take a step back and review my installation plan. I was able to connect the LED wiring to an existing rocker switch that wasn't being used next to the steering wheel. It was fairly straight-forward, but running the wires is something you'll need to be creative with as you're dealing with tight spaces. I used a long metal wire (coat-hanger thickness) to help pull the speaker/LED wiring. Overall, I would recommend these speakers. I wasn't originally going to spring for the LED option, but I am glad I did. It's a cool feature if you plan to do some evening/night boating (lights aren't overly noticeable during the day).

These speakers had nice sounds and the LEDs work great with my existing under glow kit. update: after 1 year and motorcycle just sitting in garage, both 6.5 cones have pulled away and no longer work. just the center tweeter. These do not hold up to winter temperatures apparently.

Good factory replacement in my boat. Not as loud as others but sounds much better than my old Clarions. LED's look pretty cool too. Well built and Iike the extra grills included.

Not a kicker fan, but they are certainly putting out some decent stuff now adays, these are so far the best 6.5's in the price range I've found. soild highs and mid bass.

Put these in my boat. They kick ass. Run off a 800watt amp. Great speakers for the price

Put these in the back of my dune buggy. Good sound, and really appreciate the weather resistant features!
