The package came with a few clear mounting brackets and a 4 pin JST connector for data in. There's probably not enough mounting brackets for 5 meters of strip though.

It's pretty tough to find a WS2812 LED strip (and compatible flavors) that accepts 12v, so it's a good thing that this one hits the mark where it matters. I needed 12v to run relatively long strips (~10m at 30 LEDs/m), and I'm happy to say that to my eye, I cannot see any decrease in brightness or color accuracy at that length. This is compared to 5v strips of the same density, where they seem to be unable to reach 5m before suffering from voltage drop side effects.A few things to note:* As a reminder, there is no adhesive. The strip is 10mm wide though, and there are plenty of appropriately sized mounting tape products out there that should work* As some other reviewers have mentioned, the LEDs can heat up. This shouldn't be a problem as long as they are not bunched up together (although keep in mind that I'm using the lower density variant at 30 LEDs/m)* It will accept 3.3v for the signal input. I'm controlling my strip with a Raspberry Pi, and it appears to work with no issues. Just make sure to create a common ground to avoid flickering* There is fairly significant passive power consumption. 13.3m of these LEDs (or about 400 LEDs total) will consume about 8 to 10 watts even while "off". To avoid this problem, I've used a relay to control power input* A random few LEDs can blink momentarily when you initially feed the strip power. This will likely be unimportant to most, but I thought I'd bring it up for those that plan on using a relay to constantly turn it on and off* Quality control appears to be good. I've ordered 3 of these strips and have had experienced no defects so far (no dead LEDs, no misaligned components, the strip is completely straight and aligned through multiple segments, etc)I've been using these strips for accent lighting for about a month now, and so far have not run into any burn out issues. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with these strips. They can be fairly costly, but they get the job done. Props!

The LED strips are bright and colorful, but I didn't care to add another app to my phone, especially if it did not have Alexa control. Since all of my existing LED strips are controlled by the Magic Home app, which accepts on/off commands from Alexa, I did a modification as shown.I purchased a generic WS2812b controller (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09G66L6L1?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details), removed the dual three pin interface cable and replaced it with the four pin cable that is attached to the end of the LED strips. Also, the yellow wire, BI, is connected to GND.Bottom line, excellent LED strips but for me, not so desirable controller.

This review is of the Alitove 12 Volt 150 IP67 LED Strip ASIN B07L3PWVY7.In the product description, it does state that the LED strip in enclosed in a silicone tube. I failed to realize that the 3M double sided mounting tape I typically use would not stick at all to the silicone tube.My original plan was to mount these LED strips on 1/8" aluminum strips, as the LEDs will be driven hard and will produce a lot of heat that must be dissipated in the aluminum heat sinks. So, this strip is not an option if double sided tape usage is planned. I do wish that the manufacturer had included a statement in the product description that double sided tape would NOT adhere to this LED strip. Using a silicone tube to make the LED strip IP67 compliant does cause considerable mounting issues.

I strung these lights around a boat and powered them with a portable 12V battery pack and drove them with an Arduino M0 clone. They are really bright and looked great on the boat at night. A bit of water splashed on them and it didn't affect them at all.These lights are well supported by Arduino and work with the FastLED library. I initially had some trouble getting them to work reliably: these lights will sort of work with 3.3V data lines, but after I set up a little logic level transistor circuit to get the data voltage to 12V they were much more reliable.I also had an issue with ground loops: if you get these and are powering the Arduino with the same power supply, you don't want to connect both the signal and power supply grounds, just pick one.

I wasn't sure to buy the 150 or the 300 LED version. Finally decided on the higher density, despite the increased power requirements. Really happy with the 12 V version, it makes wiring easier. It can get warm at full brighness, I recommend uncoiling for testing to facilitate heat dissioation. The LED strip is included in a soft silicon flat tube, quite confident that is totally waterproof with the sealed ends. My project will include 4 units (1200 LEDs) along the top of a wall for a big pool party. I'm testing with a WiFi SP108E controller that could be better, however the strip is very good quality and works perfect, as expected.

I had previously purchased the 5 Volt the three wire version and the wiring provided with that product did not allow for delivery of sufficient current to all of the LED in a strip. However, this 12 Volt Updated version does provide sufficient current to all LED in the strip. In addition the 12 Volt updated has the backup data transmission feature in case of a damage to individual LEDs. One must consider the amount of heat generation by the strip when used at full current capacity.
