Oster Blender with FoodSaver Vacuum Sealing System

I have used many Oster products over the years and was always pleased with the quality. I have been juicing and making smoothies for a very long time, and previously purchased a vacuum blender on this site some years ago. This I like so much better, it is easy to use, and I am happy with the material and size. As far as the noise level, I usually have to use ear plugs with my Vitamix which cost so much more. I received this today and after cleaning, I was ready to try it out, and it did not disappoint. The ease of use, the creaminess of the green drink and the amazing color, which I have never experienced before, makes me more anxious to use it on a daily basis. I did not get any of the foam produced by the other blenders including the Vitamix. I heard about this blender from a gentleman on YouTube some time ago, and when I came here to look for it, it was not available. Thank you, AMAZON, for sending information when it came back in stock. I take excellent care of things and expect to enjoy this appliance for a long time. I will also be able to vacuum the juice from my Nama also. It fits nicely under my cabinet and Vitamix is already in storage. Happy customer!!

I WILL NOT RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE. VERY DIFFICULT TO MAKE THIS THING WORK. BUTTONS DONT DO ANYTHING, SOMETIMES VACCUM TAKES TO MINUTES AND NEVER START TO BLEND. ONE OTHER THING IS THE MATERIALS OD THE PRODUCTS, VERY CHEAP BLADES WITH PLASTIC BASE JUST TO MAKE SURE YOUR BLENDED WILL BROKEN IN SOME MONTHS.

I just received this blender and have finished drinking 1 liter of fresh garden tomato juice.The vacuum works! Downing the vacuum blended juice is far easier and more pleasant than trying to gulp down the frothy juice I was getting from my regular blender. I am pleased.The blender is fairly powerful. I blended a mix of frozen cherry tomatoes and fresh large tomatoes. The blender powered through it all easily. As with all blenders.. with great power, comes great noise. All blenders are loud.The blender has good aesthetics. The base appears to be brushed stainless steel but is actually well-finished plastic. It looks nice.The carafe is some sort of clear plastic. It seems to be sturdy, light, and easy to clean. A heavy glass carafe of that size would be a workout to carry and clean.The controls are contact buttons with LEDs. Totally intuitive. Press the buttons and go. I didn't even open the instruction book. I hope they last... we shall see.The pre-programmed Vacuum & Blend Smoothie cycle is VERY convenient. The blender does all the pulsing and resting for you. Totally hands off once started. It is awesome. I must have this function on every blender I buy from now on. You can still manually pulse the blender at different speeds If you want.I will edit or replace this review if any problems arise. For now, 5 stars.

I have owned a vacuum blender (different brand) for many years. I bought this one as a replacement. The price is significantly less than other brands, and I was impressed that the vacuum was made by Foodsaver. That being said, it’s affordability is because they cut costs on the quality of the containers. I absolutely understand this — I didn’t want to pay more. But, I would really appreciate the option to buy replacement containers, if I break one. It would also be great if I could get additional to go cups. The base & vacuum are the highest quality. Once you read the instructions, it’s easy to use. I like that it’s smaller & quieter than my other one. It’s by far the best choice, and at the best price!!!

Works right out of the box. Pretty awesome. It's very loud. Takes about 40 seconds to achieve a vacuum when it's a 1/4 full. Clean up is simple.Cons:Could be quieter and have more vacuum settings.

Has a cooling fan blade on the motor.Makes noise but not enough to disturbe the user.Replaceable bearing.Added a little too much water first time but none went into the vacuum only before entering the entrance.Use everyday and dated when received. 07/14/2025Always use Food Grade Mineral Oil and added a drop on the shaft. Not saying I needed to put the oil on shaft but all of my blenders didn't have sealed bearings and all needed the oil to last longer.

This Oster was what I could afford as I was looking at all of the vacuuming blenders. At $70 I am shocked and truly happy after just one use. I have my green smoothie every morning and it's actually my most important meal. But the bloating was excrutiatingly uncomfortable. Well not today. Same recipe same everything minus the bloat. Alas! Thank you Oster!UPDATE: The vacuum stopped working within 6 months. Contacted the mfg. and sent pics and explained and they refunded the amount I purchased it for (67) since they said it was discontinued!

This is my third try for a blender that will make green smoothies without a separate foam head on it. This blender fits on my counter, under my cabinets. It is good-looking on the counter and really goes well with my appliances. I am 75 and lifting a blender is tough on my back. I have to store it on a lower shelf. This one is light and easy to for me to move. It is also good to just leave on the counter tucked under the cub bards. The Oster blender has a vacuum to take the air out of the jar before blending. This feature makes all the difference. I have a Vitimix blender and thought I could do no better. The problem with that one is I still got the foam on the top of every drink. The Oster blender is powerful enough to do any of the same jobs, including making flour. It has a smaller pitcher to make the whole process so much easier. The inclusion of a storage cup cuts down on the number of blends I need to make and makes it very convenient. I don't feel moved to do reviews often, but could not leave this out. It is difficult to tell from descriptions what a blender is capable of and how it will look in your home. This one is a keeper!
