THE NORTH FACEMen’s Thermoball Eco Insulated Jacket

My hubby has 20 jackets in the closet, yet, he always complains none keep him warm. I did a lot of research and read oodles of customer comments, then bought this one. It fits him perfectly and Mr. Complainer, after wearing it yesterday is a highly satisfied customer. He looks good in it, it’s light weight and keeps him WARM.

Good build. Good materials. Light weight. Decent warmth-to-weight. Inconsistent and weird fit.Jacket is good in almost every way, except the fit.The fit is described by North Face as 'Slim Fit'. I am slender and athletic (5'-10", 162 lbs.)The torso and the shoulders of the jacket fit as they should (I wear a Medium in all other North Face garments), but the sleeves are super fat and baggy.It looks like they took the torso from a Medium jacket and sewed on the sleeves from an Extra Large jacket.The appearance looks pretty ridiculous on a person of my build.Another thing I noticed is that if you try on the same jacket from different release seasons (2020 vs. 2021, for example), the same exact jacket fits differently. Even the same jacket in different colors patterns fits differently.Other North Face jackets and shirts fit me perfectly. I dont know how this thing is so inconsistent.This is really stupid and annoying considering the cost of this garment.(If you look carefully at North Face's own marketing pictures for this jacket, you will notice that some of the color/patterns fit the models with super baggy sleeves and others dont. Its pretty obvious once you notice it.)If you buy one online, it is a crapshoot as to whether it will fit properly. I recommend trying on exactly the one you want before you buy.

Perfect winter coat for the Midwest. I’m in Chicago and this coat is perfect. Not bulky at all but seemingly physics defyingly warm and wind proof. Walking in 40 degree whether near the lake with heavy freezing winds, my face was the only thing feeling the cold. Then indoors the coat allowed my to breathe without overheating and needing to take the jacket off.The coat itself fits like a glove (5’9” 155lb size small coat for reference) perfect sleeve length, waste is snug without being tight and the chest while close fitting leaves room for layering. As a bonus the cost weighs nothing at all, my keys weigh more than the coat itself.I will update again once I’ve experience sub freezing temps but I have no doubt this will suit me all winter long. Do not hesitate and get this jacket today. Last reference I have a cutter and buck jacket that while being as light is nowhere near as warm, and a North Face heavy duty parka that while wonderfully warm isn’t as versatile (rather clunky and to warm for indoor use)

Bought this for my 17 year old son for Christmas 2019 - he's 5' 9" and 122 lbs. I bought the Small and it fits him perfectly.He said it keeps him warm (we are in January, in MN) and I noticed that he wears this jacket all the time.The jacket looks sharp and it's a good quality jacket - this purchase was a win-win!

It is simply amazing how warm this jacket is for its weight and thickness. Downhill skiing in 20 degree weather and had to open it up to cool off. Hiking in 0 degree weather and was super comfortable. Fit and finish is fantastic. True to size, though athletically cut. Looking forward to longevity being as consistently impressive as other North Face products I have purchased.

Love the jacket and quality. It's very well constructed and fairly low profile. For me it was tight around the upper arms and back area otherwise it fit well. The sad thing is that it restricted my movement. I'm 6'1 190lbs. If it it fits, I'm sure you'll be happy with it. Unfortunately I have to return it. Its a beautiful jacket though I might swap it for an Xlarge. If you're about my size you might want to try a XL.

This is my husband's 3rd one, which he has a color in gray and orange. So happy we found this blue one in his size for his Birthday!Amazing jackets and they keep you warm and not bulky!

Fits well and is comfortable. Saved $ over hiking store price. Note no inside pockets except for a zippered high pocket near the collar. Outside pockets are zippered. Draw string around the bottom.

Quality product from a company you can rely upon warm yet lightweight and can fold into the pocket for ease of travel

Todo muy bien.La chaqueta es muy bonita .Recomiendo su compra para un clima no excesivamente frío.Perfecta para primavera y otoño,en días frescos ,pero no excesivamente fríos.Es muy fina y ligera pero da bastante calor.Es una prenda entallada. Talla M en 75 kg y 1,76 m perfecta.
