Easy to use.
First off I am in no way a protege to Gordon Ramsay although I do rate him and I am adequate in the kitchen, a single man needs to know his way around the kitchen and to fend for himself. Buying anything online comes down to a few things, the price, the look and reading endless review that by the end you just have to go with your gut feeling. I know nothing on chef's knives and cerainly wasn't going to spunk a months wages on one and so settled for this baby.Nicely presented, cool looking and gets visitors looking over you shoulder (not a good thing to do when I am waving a shape blade about!) and to me sharp enough to cut what ever gets in its way.I haven't needed to sharpen it just yet,but it is getting to that point that I break out the new sharpening stone. My son has turned out to be a budding kitchen devil and so I bought him one for his birthday in 2021 + a the very same sharpening stone too and he was well chuffed. No doubt there are better weighted, super sharp knives out there, but for the price this one straight out the box is a good starting reference.

Amazing read my review
Absolutely stunning. Super tapered spine towards the tip and tapered from spine to blade as ALL proper knives should have. Lovely top end german steel 58 hardness so easy to hone on a rod if a pro. Or use a wet stone and it will last a lifetime as a home chef. The balance is unreal with the blade running thru the handle. If u let all fingers go but your index the knife stays horizontal. The only knife I've had that does that. Then move to a pinch grip and its awesome, more handle heavy than blade but with an index finger on the spine I can slice super fine super fast. Lent it to a 14 yr chef who didnt want to give it back lol. I have no idea how long the edge stays sharp but I'd like a pro to let us home enthusiasts know. My bet is it will impress. Wooden handle lovely. One bad review a guy said the profile isnt 67 Damascus ( read the description moron) plus I have a 67 Damascus and u really cant see the difference. I thought 67 layers were raised and layered but they are 100% flat so the etching is just a nice touch to boring plain steel. PLS BUY AND TRY TRUST ME. CHEERS guys Paul

Sharp, fake folding layers but for the price u can't ask for more.
fake folding layers but for the price u can't ask for more. My proper 67 layer knife was £250. How long it stays sharp I don't know. Its 57 on the hardness scale and most steels are 50 so it should be good.

AMAZING!
After being a Chef for over 10 years I can say this knife is a must buy for the price, I use it for my day to day cooking at home. From cutting meat, greens and anything in between. It is weighty and cuts smooth like butter.

Ok
Doesn't hold a sharp blade for long cutting meat and constantly needs sharpening.

Husband won't shut up
Got this for my husbands birthday at the start of the summer and he's so obsessed with how beautifully it cuts it's all he talks about with guests! Plus its pretty We have had a lot of good BBQs though thanks to him wanting to buy beef joints just to have something to cut! :D
