Perfect for a pedalboard
I don't use much Wah Wah but when I do this was the perfect addition to my pedalboard. It's small, lightweight, and sounds fabulous. The fact that you can open the cover and with a switch, select from three different wah effects is a real plus.

Wah Wah Why not?
Let me start by saying I'm an intermediate guitarist and this was my first wah pedal. I got it because my pedalboard is only one row and all my other pedals are normal sized. I loved the small size and the 3-way voice switch intrigued me. For 100 dollars, I figured I'd give it a shot and I'm am really glad I did. This thing is tiny, but works great. It's got a nice wide sweep and I love how you can control the tension of the footboard. It works great for all that I need it to, from reggae rhythms to bluesy riffs, to screaming rock/metal solos and it adds a great effect and works great with all my other pedals (metal distortion, overdrive, phaser, delay, and looper) without getting muddy. I will definitely get another after this one dies. It's built rock solid and I can tell it'll last a long time. I definitelty recommend the Crybaby Mini

Love the sound but couldn't deal with the size
I love the sound of this unit but I wear a size 12 shoe so I returned it and bought a vox HW846A from Amazon. If it wasn't for me not being able to get use to the size I would have definitely kept it. It is very versatile with the 3 position dip switch for different sounds plus being true bypass makes it a great unit so please don't let my monster size foot discourage from buying this at all, I was heartbroken that I couldn't get use to the size or it would have been a keeper for me. It was very important for me to have a true bypass unit and this is true bypass which is very different than hardwired bypass. Don't hesitate to by this unit, I wish I could have kept it but I am happy with my vox HW846A but is not as versatile but still happy and the vox is true bypass

Need a bit of work but great sound
I've been looking for a lighter-weight alternative to my vintage Dunlop wah for years, and this appears to be it. The tone is great; it's nice to have the three sound wave options available. However, the instructions are abysmal and the design could definitely use improvement. There are two hard pieces of rubber mounted on the bottom of the top pedal piece (below where your foot rests), above the metal piece that activates the wah sound. Long time users will be familiar with the "click" sound the metal piece makes when the wah is activated or de-activated during use. This is almost, for me, like the sound of a Harley in its significance. However, apparently Dunlop had complaints that it was "too loud", so they did two things: 1. They put the two hard pieces of rubber on the lower part of the top pedal portion, which effectively block the metal piece from being pressed down hard enough to activate the wah unless you really stomp hard; 2. They added a silly little felt piece above the metal "clicker", which supposedly stops the noise of the metal hitting the bottom of the top pedal piece. Here are the problems: - The felt piece deteriorates, really quickly. So quickly that replacement felt pieces are for sale all over the place. (Why someone would purchase that when a small piece of Velcro would do is beyond me.) - If you don't want to stomp really hard on the pedal to activate, the two hard rubber pieces make it impossible to use. I was on tour with Livingstone Taylor, a gear-head who carries a panapoly of tools with him at all times. After two long discussions with Dunlop (who were surprised to hear that the pedal was essentially non-functional unless I weighed a lot more and had a lot harder step, and shocked to hear that the felt piece on a new pedal was practically non-existent_, Liv came up with a fix. He took a small knife, sheared off about 1/3 of each rubber piece, and the pedal now works perfectly. Yes, there's a "click" sound when I turn it on or off. But realistically, in a concert or club situation, when someone is about to kick in the wah for a solo or song, it doesn't matter. So, my suggestion is to shave down the rubber pieces and make the whole thing easier to use. That's the only reason for a four star. Otherwise I'd give it a five.

So tiny, so beautiful
This pedal is SO cool. I had a Vox wah for 5 years and honestly just thought it was as good a wah tone as one could get (I hated it, but I didn't know any better). But my friend had this baby Crybaby and I couldn't believe the sound he was getting, and got it for myself as quickly as I could. First of all, the three tones you can get by using the switch that's within the pedal aren't just "tones," they are straight up tones. Each one is it's own, wonderful sweep, and you'll probably die trying to pick one to stick with for a while, though if you're like me, you'll pick the low sweep which has a great Yuck/The Pains of Being Pure at Heart sound. Secondly, don't be worried about how it will feel on your foot. As long as you've got it on the top row of your board (so you can move your foot up and down) it's the same feeling. Not different or awkward at all.

Great Product
I'm in the music business and use various types of effects for my equipment. This is a great pedal that I use all the time, so I highly recommend it.

Arrived as expected. Works great. So much easier to carry to the studio than the full size model. Also love the internal switch. For slightly different tones.

This was the only mini Wah pedal I found that can run off a battery, making it perfectly portable without having to be part of a powered pedalboard. Exactly what I was looking for partnered with my Spark Mini practice amp. I can take it to practices and on holiday without a full pedalboard or multieffects unit. The battery is accessed by unscrewing the whole bottom plate and that also gives you access to a switch for three different voicings. The default High setting gives it a bright modern tone but I set the switch to the middle Vintage position and this was exactly the same tone as my full-sized Cry Baby I bought in the 1970s. Some people might find it a faff to unscrew the baseplate to change the battery or the voices, but I keeps the pedal small and sturdy. For a stand-alone pedal it's brilliant!
