KAISH 5 Hole Vintage Tele Style Guitar Pickguard TL Pick Guard Scratch Plate for USA/Mexico Tele/Telecaster Matte Black 1 Ply

I bought this for a partscaster based on a T-style guitar. It fit the guitar body with no issues. It looks well made. I modified it so I could raise and lower the neck pickup without having to take the pick guard off of the guitar. That involved drilling a couple of holes. Overall, it's a good pick guard and costs much less than the name-brand pick guards;

Good quality, sturdy plastic. Should be a good fit. Quite satisfied. Just be aware that this guard does have a bevel.

I am very impressed with the quality of this replacement pickguard. It fit my Squier bullet tele that I am customizing perfectly. The holes all lined up and it fit around the bridge and control plate perfectly. The color is a natural looking "parchment" color with just the right touch of green to make it look vintage. A very pleasant surprise was that it included the mounting screws AND a guitar pick!! Outstanding!!! P.s. I forgot to mention that being a vintage 5 hole guard there are no holes for the neck pickup as it is supposed to be body mounted. I chose to simply drill two holes for the pickup so I can adjust height without having to remove the pickguard.

This pick guard is nice! I purchased it for my Classic Vibe 50's Squire Telecaster. It was a CLOSE fit. I did have to drill out two of the screw holes on the body of my guitar to get the screws to line up with the holes on the pick guard. This was simply done by marking new holes with a fine tipped sharpie on the body and then drilling them out. I didn't need to plug the original holes due to the wood and dust moving over and helping grip the screws. The new screws were also great since my old ones were tarnished. Aside from the holes not lining up perfectly, I have no issues with this item and would happily buy it in more colors for a nice cosmetic change from time to time.

As with almost any aftermarket pickguard, you will likely have to do some dremeling. It’s just the nature of the beast for mass production(both guitars and pickguards). Especially given guitars produced in multiple factories in multiple countries of origin under the same branding. Eg; My Japanese ‘52 ri Tele vs my American ‘52 ri Tele vs my Mexican, Korean, Chinese, Indonesian, et al. If you know that going in, it’s no big deal. That being said, why not save some money in doing so? Sure you could go with a custom pickguard maker in which you send them an exact tracing of the existing factory pickguard but you’ll likely spend a lot more. If you don’t own a rotary tool or a drill maybe it’s worth it to you. There’s something for everybody. For the price I can’t knock it, looks great.

It's a perfect fit for a 2019 MIM Vintera. It's also 3 ply and thicker than the original. This is definitely an upgrade.

Pour remplacer un pickguard noir simple couche. Là c'est du 3 pli le banding noir à beaucoup de charme avec la couleur crème. Bien ajusté rien à dire c'est super pour le prix

Very nice. I needed one with no pickup adjuster holes, so that I could drill my own and get the positioning right. This was it, and at a somewhat reasonable price, too.

Passade perfekt till en Fender Vintera Roadworn Telecaster. Köpte ett i vitt och ett med en lite grönaktig ton. Alla var superfina. Nu vet jag inte riktigt vilken jag använda. Jättefin kvalitet! Rekommenderas!
