I e been using this supplement daily along with the triple strength estoblock from the same company. I’ve struggled with hormonal acne sense my teens. A lot of cystic acne appears around jaw and chin area approximately a week before my period starts. I’ve tried every topical solution on the market even prescription retin-A and dapsone. This combo works so good. About two weeks before my period the texture of my skin would visually change, but with this the texture of my skin has remained consistent and my cystic acne around jaw and chin has stopped. Literally stopped. I feel more even too. My mood feels more regulated and I feel less agitated during PMS time. I’m blown away. Both my emotional and physical symptoms seem easier to manage. I’m just floored by the effect this has had on my body. And I wasn’t expecting this to work either… I was really just thinking I guess I’ll give it a try, like everything else… but it works. For me it is worth the $100 a month for this pill combo. Very pleased.

I was really struggling with hormonal acne outbreaks for a few years after going off of birth control. I had large cysts that would not come to a head around my chin and jawline that would swell my face horribly. They were so painful and it would take weeks for them to reduce size and heal, and then it would happen all over again around my next period. I went on antibiotics for months which helped for a bit, but was not a forever cure. I used topical ointments that barely helped and finally out of desperation went on Spironolactone. Spironolactone cleared my skin completely, but I had severe and scary side effects from that. I was so disheartened and felt like there was nothing left to try. Then after a rabbit hole of research, I found DHT block. After two months of taking these, I have had two period cycles and after this most recent cycle, my skin is miraculously 100% CLEAR. I never went to get my hormones checked, and might suggest anyone else do that first to understand what is truly going on, but I'm so thankful this worked for me. It also changed my periods - I used to have super long, heavy periods, and now, they are much lighter and only a few days. I also changed my diet to cut out dairy and cut down on gluten. So I do think it has been a perfect combination to get to this point. Many acne treatments act only as band aids for women struggling with hormonal acne, but these supplements actually address the root of the issue which is an imbalance in hormones. I can't say enough great things about how these pills. They have changed my self-esteem and day to day.

Initially, I felt this was working for my face ( hyperplasia that's hormonal n resembles acne) n for my hair which I find is thinning as I age. I know this thinning is hormonal. When I first started taking this, I was also taking a pomegranate supplement, so maybe that was a plus for hair. This supplement also contains pomegranate n after a week my previous pomegranate supplement had finished n I didn't need more. I initially started taking two capsules together n that gave me a headache, so I did as instructed one in morning and one in evening. No more headaches. My hair is naturally long, : just thin. I didn't want it any thinner n it got thinner. I have completed the two bottles but it made my hair come out more. DIM is not for everyone. No fault of the manufacturer. I am post menopause. DIM may be best for someone who is younger. I lost more hair. I experienced irregular heartbeats , and had to increase my magnesium. When I stopped the supplement, it stopped. This was caused by the astragalus in the supplement. Astragalus is a good plant though. Maybe the combination or dose was having an effect on me. I did purchase two bottles n have basically completed all. I will have to try another DHT blocker.

Let’s start off with these pills do help with skin within a day or so my skin was so clear. After a week in a half my hair started to fall out. I came back to these reviews and found some other reviews with the similar issue of “increase hair shedding” it was a lot of hair shedding. So now I may take one pill once a day for 2 maybe 3 days a week An it’s clears my skin any more then that my hair will fall out. If they didn’t cause my hair to fall out I’d give these a solid 5 star.

UPDATE: the photo on the left is from March. On the right is 2 weeks ago. I started taking these at the beginning of May. #PROGRESS I haven't been officially diagnosed with PCOS but my hair loss, irregular periods, facial hair and uncontrollable cystic acne are enough to have me convinced. I've been suffering mainly from hormonal, deep cystic acne since last summer right after I turned 21. Antibiotics helped for a couple months, but the acne came right back full force in January and I've tried just about every topical treatment you could think of with no relief. I realized that the source of my acne was something internal that I needed to get under control. I did some research on hormones and acne and discovered DHT and the negative effects it can have on your body. I figured that if this was the cause of my acne, then there must be something out there to "balance" or "Block" this hormone from creating problems. Prescription drugs like spironolactone were not an option for me-but I'm happy to say I've found natural relief with this product. I've only been taking this for about a month, and can really tell a difference in my skin. My face feels so much smoother, I've notice reduced oil, and reduced size of pimples. My skin isn't completely clear, there is still a lot of acne scarring as well, but has improved so much in such a short amount of time. I'm excited to see where long-term use of this product will take me. I currently take 2 capsules in the morning along with a Women's Multi-Vitamin :) next time I review I'd like to post before and after pictures ! Also to anyone who is suffering from severe acne, don't give up. It's a struggle finding something that works for you, but if you haven't given this product a try, I would definitely reccomend it
