Silver Rest Cool Comfort 10-Inch 3-Layer Gel Memory Foam Mattress, Eastern King Size

I bought this mattress for a summer vacation home, and the mattress is not that great. Why?... Its cover has a very poor fabric as well as the stitches on it. Thus, I am afraid if I dare to wash it, it will tear up apart completely. The supposed "cooling gel" or whatever it is said to help cool you down, is just rubbish since I felt boiling during the summer time when I was sleeping on this mattress. Also the mattress is not firm. It is sad the misleading information about this item. I guess these type of products are never tested...

I switched from a water bed to this mattress. I had a 2" memory foam topper and quilt top pad that I used on my waterbed that I also use on this mattress. It seemed a bit firm after sleeping on a waterbed, so the extra foam and quilt top helped with the transition. This is a great mattress for the money.

I bought this mattress in 2013. I was out of town a lot for work, so I did not have the luxury of sleeping in my bed every night for the first 2 years, however, I have been sleeping on this mattress for the last couple months and I wake up in the middle of the night sweating (no cool comfort). If I actually sleep through the night on this mattress, I wake up with a back ache. The mattress kept its form, it still looks brand new, but it is not comfortable at all.

I love this mattress. It is firmer than most memory foam, but it fits to the contours of a body well - giving good stability. It even came in a very compact package which was a delightful amusement to unroll.
