Hot and Bothered
This was one of my favorite Emily Tilton books yet. She combines the psychology of pleasure and pain into a breathless swirl of submissive yearnings and awakened desires. Her females are always intelligent and independent, even after they've been mastered by the dominant men who love and discipline them. This book in the series dives further into the shadowy organization that is attempting to save the world from the economic collapse they know is ineviteable without their intervention. Judith, caught hacking into the computer program developed by Maia (from book 3), must be brought face-to-face with the secrets she won't admit to herself and the secrets she's keeping from everyone else, before time runs out.It was definitely a one-handed read!

Great work.
A well written story. A good plot , that leds to a story with sex and yet not just sex. I look forward to reading more of her work.

Well-written erotica
I struggled with this book. It's unquestionably well-written, and I really liked the premise and world the author is developing with the Praetorian Guard and New Modesty. But I never felt any true affection developing between Judith and Ned, so the romantic element was missing and that made the BDSM feel a little squicky. The primary kink here is gang banging, which often feels devoid of affection anyway, and I didn't feel any here between Judith and the group of four "nymphobus" who were pretty much interchangeable except for their hair and shirt colors. The structure with Judith being closely monitored was good early in the novel, where it made me feel like the Praetorian Guard was taking care of Judith and weren't just putting her through this ordeal for no reason. It was also a nice voyeuristic element. But as the book went on, it became another thing that created distance in the narrative. There's a lot of dubious ethics going on here, and I liked that none of the characters/organizations were wholly morally upright. That made the "justice" of the Praetorian Guard's "punishment" of Judith somewhat tough for me to swallow, however. I also had difficulty believing Judith's growing guilt. She's clear at the beginning that the company she's hacked are not the good guys. I didn't find anything in the course of the novel to change that initial perception, particularly given that the Praetorian Guard don't exactly act ethically: they lure Judith to the island under false pretences, spy on her, commit a number of sexual acts on her with dubious consent and without a safe word, and brainwash her into betraying her employer and committing espionage. There are a lot of shades of grey there and made it tough to like any of the characters.Overall, this is very intellectual erotica, but it left me a little cold.

Best one yet
I am really enjoying every one of these. My husband calls them my naughty books. I'm sad the Bound for Service series is almost over. The writing style is great. Sometimes I try to read other authors but they are just not as skilled writers.

Great Book
This is the 2nd book I've read written Emily Tilton; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of her books. The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.I loved the chemistry between the characters.I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

Worth the time to read.
Very enjoyable story, excellent character development. Only negative is the tendency to be too "wordy" in some passages. Overall, I found it a very stimulating read. Will read more stories by Emily.

Providing discipline in a dystopian future
Our heroine is caught hacking into the wrong system and gets some old fashioned discipline. This is part of the author's dystopian future series where a secret organization is trying to head off an economic collapse using some very interesting methods. As per usual for our author, the story is very well written with interesting characters and lots of steamy action. I really like our heroine in this one, finding her strength and plight to be equally intriguing. The story was easy to read and featured strong elements of D/S and punishment.Highly recommended.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout for review purposes.

Not Bad
This had promise but it did not deliver for me.It needed a bit more sex and bondage. The author tried.but just did not bring it to a satisfying end.
