With the release of Plattan in 2009, Urbanears changed the way the world saw headphones. Elevating headphones from the realm of chromed plastics to a colorful fashion accessory paved the way for a new generation of electronics - a generation where form is just as important as function. Urbanears is changing the game once again with a new release that takes a classic, reinvents it and pumps it full of innovative features like a washable headband, improved ergonomics and an interchangeable cable. Introducing Plattan ADV - a classic redefined for a new generation. The future is back.

Urbanears are always reliable and great. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because the Velcro on the detachable band comes off on its own every so often.

Headband keeps coming off
We got these headphones to replace previous Urbanears headphones. We liked the color, but in just a few uses the headband cover for the headphones came off. This is the padded bit that protects the head from wires that hold both ear pieces in place. We keep trying to put it back on, but it comes right off again. So, these are frustrating . . . which is not what you need from headphones.

Waste of money, never buying Urbanears again
I've been a fan of Urbanears since I got my first on-ear headphones about 4 years ago. I've since bought 2 in-ear versions, and both have broke in two weeks or less. I thought I was usually hard on my headphones or what I bought had a design malfunction or I was just struck with bad luck, twice, but then I bought these. I got them on Wednesday because my old headphones are beginning to wear out and I was going to be traveling. I thought these would be great, but they're horrible. They've very comfortable on the head, but when they're plugged into my iPhone with the wider end in the phone, it makes the songs skip, hyper-speed through and only play in the ear the jack is plugged into on the headphone side and it constantly automatically pauses the music and tries to activate siri. If the plug-in is reversed so the microphone/pause button is plugged into the phone, the microphone/pause doesn't work and the sound still doesn't work in the ear that the jack isn't plugged in to although the music plays normally. Not only did I throw away over $100 on bad ubranears products in the last three months, but I had to suffer on a 5 hour plane ride with a screaming baby behind me and a seat-neighbor who was playing Dr. Strange on his iPad without headphones on, because I relied too much on the belief that of course these headphones would be fantastic because Urbanears is always quality. Never again.

Not for "big" heads
If your head is above average in size, these aren't for you. These headphones are very snug and start to hurt your ears. Overall great quality and look, they just aren't ideal for wearing more than 45 minutes at a time.

Very pretty. I bought one set
Very pretty. I bought one set. It broke. I asked for a replacement. They sent it to me. It broke. So in summary, these are very nice headphones but they break too easily to be useful. Would not recommend.

Painful
Great sound quality and I love the look, as well as the inline mic, but they hurt my ears after about a half hour of use.

Perfect.
Amazing product. The only caveat you may have when receiving the headphones is that may feel a little tight on her ear at first, but that can be changed by putting your headphones over the box it comes in so the headband stretches overnight enough to compensate the typical shape of the head.

Great sound, not so great design
Bought a pair of these for our daughters birthday. She loved them for almost a year when one of the hinges snapped. I wrote to Urbanears and they did send me out another pair after jumping thru several hoops (completely breaking the first pair with pictures) however the other pair has only lasted several months and the hinge has yet again snapped. Our daughter is very careful and rarely ever used the fold up option but the few times she has it ended up with a broken set of headphones. She really loves the look of them however I dont feel like shelling out that much money for yet again another set of headphones that wont last more than a year. The design is faulty and not fit for purpose, plastic hinges are daft and break to easy. Should be more durable if its actually meant to fold and be compact.

Urbanears est une marque de casque pour tout ceux qui aiment la musique avec des basses très bonnes, des voix claires, et un esthétisme parfait. Urbanears a encore une fois rempli son contrat de bon casque a moindre prix
