Ortopad® Soft Bamboo Boys Eye Patches, 50/Box (Junior Size, 0-2 yrs) Textured Accents

We use these on our 21 month old every day for a few hours and they fit well, stay on, and are easy to remove. I was worried that peeling it off from the same spot every day was going to cause irritation but it hasn't at all.

My son loves these patch and I love they don't irritate his skin. They work really well and he is motivated to wear them by the design. A win-win!

These are always sold out when you try to purchase direct from Ortopad. My 1 year old needed these ASAP as he needs to use them while healing from surgery. His eyes are healing just as they should and these shipped and were delivered in 2 days!

These patches did the job for our infant son but my only issue is that the stick was not super strong by his nose while it was almost impossible to get off by his temple. This was very stressful for all. I would suggest wetting but I did not have great luck with that method personally. Otherwise it got the job done and they are super cute.

Easy to use.

I have tried cheaper patches and they just aren’t as good! These stick very well, and come off easily. Cheaper ones are always peeling off on their own.

My 15 month has to wear one of these for an hour a day to help with an eye issue. This brand was recommended to us by an ophthalmologist. I ordered a box, it went on great, he kept it on. Seemed comfortable for him. But then I could not get it off after the hour was up. It was stuck to his skin. He was crying, it was painful for him when I tried taking it off. I was crying because it was hurting him. Husband had to help get it off. The patch came off eventually, but some of the adhesive is still stuck on my son’s face. I’m going to try touching the sticky parts before applying tomorrow to see if I can get some of the adhesive a little less sticky before going on his face to see if it helps get it off easier. Just wanted to give others a heads up that this happened to us. UPDATE: Before applying to his face, I wash my hands and wait until they’re completely dry, stick the patch to the back of my hand, then peel it off and then stick it on him. Haven’t had an issue ever since starting to do it that way

This brand is much sticker than the others I’ve tried and smaller in eye coverage, but I needed something very sticky otherwise my son just rips it off. He’s unable to pull this off by himself. They irritate the skin around his eye so I have to rotate in other brands that have a slightly different shape and aren’t as sticky.

You get what you pay for

These work so much better then other brands! Stick nicely since you know babies are going to touch them but they don’t come off instantly like others and to remove it doesn’t bother him either. Would recommend over other brands we’ve tried

These are great and cute. My baby still finds a way to rove them but I have plenty so I just put on a new one. Much cheaper than drug store options also

Soft to touch, and very effective adhesive, which is gentle to remove!

I normally buy the normal orthopads for my 1 year old because they stay on so well, bought the SOFT ones for a change in design and was so disappointed, they are thicker then the normal ones and don't stay on. My son had it ripped off in under 5 minutes when he's normally good to keep the originals on for 3 hours.
