These batteries are a good replacement for the original units that come in craftsman power tools. They are becoming very hard to find so it was good to not have to discard the power tools.

I just bought one of these and put it through its paces using a Ryobi leaf blower. While it does not appear to last significantly longer than a brand-name 1.5 AH Ryobi battery, here's the thing: It costs $20.69 and a brand-name 1.5 AH Ryobi battery costs $49.95 at Home Depot. One caveat as others have mentioned, it delivers slightly lower voltage than the brand-name battery as the speed/pitch of the blower is noticeable lower, even on a full charge. And a CAUTION: I would NOT recommend buying a brand-name battery anywhere other than a bricks-and-mortar retailer. I bought one on-line a while back, and when it failed (charger said it was defective and wouldn't charge it), the seller would not return my calls. I contacted Ryobi directly with the serial number, and they said that since I had not bought the battery from an authorized retailer, the warranty was void. I would think that violates FTC laws, but there I was with no battery. But this battery is a good value such that I actually just bought another one here on Amazon.

so far so good thet fit in my craftsmen charger and have and stay charged very well!!!!!
