Brilliant piece of equipment, can't knit by hand any more so this knitting machine is great for me to continue knitting. Can't believe how easy it is to use and there's plenty of straightforward videos to watch on YouTube how to use and make things. So pleased with my purchase, it is well made and easy to use, can't stop making things, it's so quick. Picture is my first jumper, but I have even improved since making that one and only had it a few weeks. Update - I found out that if your machine drops stitches it's because the tension is too loose, found this to be great advise and hardly drop stitches now.

I love this knitting machine. It’s so easy to use and within an hour I’d knitted a large pumpkin piece for autumn. The accessories given are really handy as well. Great quality and works well.

This is a good machine, it’s a Miaoke 48 needle machine. It took a bit of time to get used to it! At first, I was having a job threading the machine, I was dropping stitches, etc. I have now got used to using the machine, patience is the best tip I can give you to get it right. I have made the hats and scarves, I love it now! To secure the machine on a table, just damp the rubber feet and damp the table where the feet are placed, it’s sturdy when it dries.

What a waste of money! Item returned for refund ( which I received promptly). It winds the wool so fast it doesn't wind properly so you have to stop it every 10 seconds to manually wind the wool. It then makes the most horrendous noise where the motor is still going but the gears have jumped and it doesn't wind, another stop. I would not consider buying this again.

I bought this to get into knitting as part of my crafting life. I am excited about using it and I make small little crafts; but this item is definitely for children. Beginners can get away with using it as long as you are making personal item/gifts for yourself or your family. The needles catch on certain types of yarn and cause the crank to stall. Consider purchasing ONLY if you are going to learn about tube knitting/plane knitting and NOT if you want to make item for sale.

I'm glad I got this yarn ball winder as it has come in handy several times. It attaches to the table for stability with small amounts of adjustment to do so. It's a good size to be able to take with me to my crochet group and use to wind up scrap balls. You won't be able to wind and entire skein unless it's those itty bitty ones. It's not made of titanium but it doesn't seem like it will break. Once you have it set up, a scrap ball winds up very quickly. I think if you need the ability to quickly and uniformly wind your small balls of yarn, this is a good value. It does the job.
