Glyptal 1201Q - Insulating Enamel Paint, Corrosion And Moisture Resistant, Red, 1 Quart, 1201 Series

This paint adheres very well to the clean metal surface of my engine build. I hope it does the job it is described as doing for oil return and heat insulation.

Any engine builder worth his salt would use this stuff! I have used it for years on my supercharged Hemi builds and it will seal the block pores and make the oil return to the pan faster where the pump can get at it like its supposed to. A truely great product that can be used for a number of applications.

This paint worked very good and covered well. Cleanup is easy with acetone. It is expensive.

Works well brushed on and dried to a smooth finish

This is what you want to paint the inside of your motor to help the oil return to the oil pan. It makes a nice smooth surface to help the oil slide down to the pan vs getting caught up in all the little pores left over in the sand casting process.
